By the time Saturday came around Saffron was exhausted from not only work, but from frustration, fury and sadness.
"I don't think should go tonight," Saffron said to Erica as they were finishing up for the day.
"What? Why not? You have to go!"
"I just don't feel up to it," Saffron shrugged.
"Saffron, I know you're still upset. But you promised Chistina," Erica said, slipping her gloves off and disposing of them.
"I know I did. I just, I have nothing to wear," Saffron shrugged, removing her hair net.
"You should have said something earlier! It's ok though, I have a few dresses you can choose from," Erica smiled as the two left.
"Are you sure?" Saffron asked.
"Of course! I wouldn't offer otherwise. I promise tonight will be fun though. The dances always are. Good food, dancing, laughing, drinking, it's great. Oh and did you get the day off tomorrow?"
"Yeah, I did thank goodness," Saffron smiled.
"Good. Sleep in for us!" Erica giggled.
The two arrived at their house, and by now Saffron was actually feeling pretty excited about going.
"So I'm wearing this one," Erica said as soon as they reached her bedroom. Out of her cupboard she pulled a velvet, dark marron, spaghetti starpped dress.
"Wow. Redge is going to die when he see's you in it," Saffron teased. She had seen how over the moon Erica had been when Redge asked her if she would go with him.
"You think?" Erica smiled as she swished the dress around a little bit.
"Yes!" Saffron smiled.
"No what are we going to choose for you," Erica said, turning back to her closet.
"How's this?" Erica pulled out a hot pink dress that had the occasional dimonte on it.
"Ahh, no thanks," Saffron said, trying not to pull a face at Erica's taste in dresses. "What's that yellow one?"
Erica smiled, pulling out a pale yellow dress, it was a sleevless one with the material twirled into small flowers covering the top beefore the skirt going knee length and sparkley.
"This is it," Erica smiled passing it to Saffron who was in love.
Walking off to her room Saffron couldn't wait to wear it and hopefully catch Charlie's eye.
Sighing aloud she knew she was always going to be in love with him.
Pushing Charlie out of her mind she showered, excited to get ready for the evening.
After showering she dried her hair, scrunching it up and letting it go wavy. Slipping into the dress, she gave a twirl, feeling pretty.
