Time was flying.

It was now Christmas time, and Ginny was allowed home from Hogwarts. No one spoke about it though, especially not Ginny who was covered from head to toe in bruises.

Charlie and Saffron's relationship had deepened. But not a whole lot. Saffron still hadn't said she loved Charlie back, though Charlie told her how he felt everyday, pointing out the things he loved about her when she did them. She had to admit it made her feel special, and as time went on, she felt better and better about getting closer to him and starting a relationship. He understood her and she knew she could trust him. He hadn't told anymore lies, but she had accepted his last. He really was trying to protect her.

They had sent a letter back to work and had a reply, wishing the better health of the both of them, after saying both were unable to attend due to illness. Saffron knew she was lying, but she had been bitten by the love bug, so that was an illness she guess, not such a bad one though.

"You have very pretty hair," Ginny commented. The two were getting ready for Christmas dinner. The Weasley had decided to make a big deal out of this one, and everyone was getting dressed up for a party like time.

Molly, who had been dressed and ready several hours earlier, was out setting up food along with Arthur. The twins and Charlie, who had by now made up, were getting ready together.

So it left Ginny and Saffron.

"Thank you Ginny!" Saffron smiled. "Your hair is much prettier though! You have such a beautiful colour."

"Thanks Saffron, I still like yours better though," Ginny smiled. She really enjoyed Saffron's company. She was always kind to her, returning compliments, and making her feel good.

"You look stunning in that dress!" Saffron beamed. She had helped Ginny get ready and spotting this dress in her closet she knew Ginny would look perfect in the deep green, tight waisted dress which fell just below her knees. Saffron had specially curled her hair and helped her cover up her bruises and the dress was only three quarter sleeved.

"Thanks Saffron! Gold suits you," Ginny replied, the night for both of them seemed to be continuous compliments.

Saffron smiled, swirling her dress a bit. She was sporting a glittery gold dress. It had a low neck line, but not inappropriately low, and it fell to above her knees and wasn't too tight as she could gently sway it.

"You are much too kind Ginny," Saffron said, pinning the last of her hair up on the top of her head. It was the first time in a while that she pulled all of her hair back and pinned it onto the top of her head , creating a bun full of curls.

Before finishing, Saffron decorated both of their hair with small tinsel bows and ball ball earrings.

"We look fabulous!" Saffron said and Ginny laughed agreeing.

"Everybody! Dinner!" Molly called out.

"You ready?" Saffron asked.

"Yes," Ginny smiled. "Charlie is going to pass out when he see's you," Ginny joked and Saffron laughed as they linked arms and headed downstairs.

The relationship between Charlie and Saffron was an openly known thing now, and Saffron had learnt to accept that she didn't have to be so secretive about it.

There was a whole heap of chatter as the two girls entered the room, before silence.

"Girls you look wonderful!" Arthur smiled.

"Ginny you look so grown up!" Molly smiled.

"Thanks," Ginny grinned and Saffron stood to the side, allowing Ginny to have a lot of attention on her.
