Clary's POV

Izzy looked at me in confusion. She wasn't aware of what I knew... no one was. She read the fear and confusion on my face and raised a single, elegant eyebrow.

"What's up?" She asked cautiously.

"It's Sebastian... I don't think he is who he says he is."

"Are you being fo real Clary?"

"I thought it was suspicious that we had never seen him around before, then I thought I would ask if there were any new kids in school called Sebastian. When I asked they said there hadn't been any transfers this year. Maybe he isn't as amazing as you think." Izzy looked like she had been shot.

She moved across the room and sat on the bed. Her pain started to melt into anger. She shot me a look full of betrayal. I was taken aback by this. "You're jealous, aren't you? That's why you're saying this, isn't it?" I felt my eyes widen in shock. Was she hearing herself? "I saw the way you looked at him when we first met him. I saw the glint in your eyes."

"That was suspicion! Which, may I add, has been proven to not be so much suspicion as it is a sixth sense for when something is wrong. Did you not hear me?? He isn't even registered at the school! Have you ever seen him in any of our lessons? Come on Iz, wake up and realise how weird this is!" She looked up from staring at her hand and pushed a strand of black hair from her face.

"I'm going to bed." She muttered and I took that as my cue to leave. I went to my room and lay down, staring at the ceiling. I needed to alert the others, I couldn't be having Izzy hanging around with 'Sebastian' if we had no idea who he was.
