Chapter 11-Fury

as soon as I step out I find my self near the steps to the second floor and hear shouting and arguing coming from around the corner  

"We have to go get him" Jenn cries 

"I'm sorry Jennifer, but it's too risky. I don't want any one else going near the darkness" Chris says with strain 

I step from around the corner "Hey, you guys know I can handle my self right?"

"An...Andrew?" Jenn has tears in her eyes. 

"hey, I'm not going to leave you guys that easi-omf" I'm cut off and tackled by Jenn who is now crying on my chest.

Linda walks over to pick up the sword that fell out of my bag but as soon as she touches it she jumps back and holds her hand.

"Andrew, where is that from?" She looks at me 

so I tell her and everyone else what happened and what I found in the 50th floor.

" wait Hope wanted you to date her?" Amy asks. And Tim elbows her.

"so she asked you to join her, you met Diana Lavastone who gave you her own magic items, and found magic sucking crystals" Chris was trying put everything together. "let me see one of those crystals"

I toss a clear crystal to him his hand lights up and the light gets sucked in to the crystal and becomes cloudy white. I do the same for every one else and they do the same and theirs become cloudy colors of there elements. Jenn's head just sits on my chest still and she takes her crystal without looking at me or anyone else.

We all sit there not knowing what to do next, when we hear a scream of rage from down stairs

"He escaped 50 floors, how is that even possible!"

Jenn slowly gets up and walks toward the stairs, with every step she took water formed into a pool around her. Hope shown from her darkness in a rage, darkness formed around her like she was coming out of the worlds most hideous flower. They meet in the middle of the hall and, just stand their for a moment, like there having a stand off.

"out of my way you poor excuse for mage" Hope snarled 

"how about you crawl back into your dark, lonely hole" Jenn growls. 

before I know it there are tendrils of water and darkness everywhere, Jenn takes a hard hit to the chest and flies back,but is able to catch her self and slides back to a stop, she forms a fist of water behind Hope and smashes her, but Hope disintegrates and appears next to it, so the fist opens and smacks Hope to the wall, tendrils of water grab all her limbs and Jenn walks over to her and says something to her but I can't hear what she says.

"wait Jennifer, hold her there" Chris yells as he runs to them "I might be able to purify her"

He put two of his fingers to her fore head and whispers while his eyes close in focus, she then starts screaming in pain and terror, she struggles in her bonds then goes limp. A shadow jump out of her and looks at all of us.

"YOU WILL WIN BATTLES, BUT THIS WAR WILL NEVER END, THE DARKNESS ALWAYS BE THERE NO MATTER WHAT" 

The shadow fades away and we all carry Hope back to Lavastone.
