"Andrew wake up! Its my birthday" I wake up to a ten year old jumping on my back
"Come on Lily, its 5:30 in the morning. The party doesn't start till 11:00, let me sleep" I flop my head back on my pillow
"Get up before I grab the matches and set your hair on fire" her voice darkened
I smerk and set my own hair on fire just to mess with her.
She glares at me "thats not going to work on me any more" she sighs as she pours a glass water on top of it. "Can you teach me how to do that?"
I look at her "I don't know, you might burn the house down."
"Andrew, mom hasn't set tbe kitchen on fire since you went to that school. I know you did something to the bouse to make it fire proof."
"Alright, alright, you got me, I'll teach you a little bit of magic AFTER you let me sleep" I lay back down
"Awe, your no fun."

"Alright, first we are going to need to open a mana channel, otherwise you won't be able to cast any spells"I took her to the park to she would have enough room to move around "now put this hoodie on."
"Why?" She looks at it
" first its a channel opener and second its also a limiter, once your channel is opened a lot of stored up mana will burst out of your body and that can lead to some very nasty things, that hoodie will keep you from exploding" I explain " now lets use some of that stored up magic power, I'm gonna teach you how to use fire magic cause thats all I know at the moment. Pay close attention to what I'm about to do, kay" I crouch in and and ready a flame claw kick "now I focus my mana into my abdomen and churn it into fire then I release that fire in the desired form like this" I jump and twirl as my leg pumps fire to boost my kick so that it hits 5x harder than it should.
The training dummy that I put together shatters into pieces.
"Opps, I may have put too much power in that" I say.
Lily looks down at the mess of broken splinters and her jaw drops "That was a solid log from the firepit pile"
"Yeah probably should have used concrete blocks instead or maybe metal pipes"
"Andrew ... your insane"
