"I'm going to go grab something to eat," Aurora said, standing. "Would you like to join me? It's been twelve hours."

Clarke smiled, but she shook her head. "No family can remain in here after eight, so I've only got a little more than an hour with him today. Thank you so much, but I'll eat when they give me the boot," she tried to joke.

Aurora nodded, completely understanding. Clarke watched her leave, her hand gripping Bellamy's limp hand in hers.

Her eyes roamed his face as she brushed his wild hair back, the strands so familiar. He was pale, his skin not as dark. It made his freckles seem to stand out more.

"You scared me, Bellamy," she said, he voice still thick. "I thought I lost you. Don't ever, ever do that to me again."

"Sorry."

Clarke jumped up, her hand squeezing Bellamy's. "Oh!" She gasped, loudly. "Oh, you're awake!"

She panicked, looking for the nurse button. "Sorry," he said again, his voice low, sounding like he had gargled rocks.

"It's okay," Clarke sniffled. "You're alive. You're with me, Bellamy." She pressed the button, the nurses and Abby coming I to check on him. Aurora was coming back in as the nurses were leaving.

"The nurses are kicking me out," she said, brushing his hair again. "I'll be back in twelve hours. As soon as they let me in, in here, okay?" She leaned down and kissed his forhead, carefully.

She hugged Aurora and left, walking together with her mother to her car.
