Bellamy had told Clarke to stay in the car while he was getting his stitches removed. She put up a fight about it, but he knew deep down she didn't want to watch.

Abby had confided in him one night in the hospital, telling him how terrified and broken Clarke had been, pressed against the glass. Bellamy still shuddered at the thought.

As terrified as he had been himself, he passed out. He didn't have to see it. He couldn't imagine seeing Clarke on a cold table, a hand digging inside of an open wound. Just the mental image was making him nauseous.

Bellamy thanked the doctor for removing his stitches, glad that it was sooner than he had anticipated. As he was leaving the office, he stopped in the lobby. When Clarke was staying at the hospital with him, it was obvious she wasn't getting any sleep. The purple under her eyes was way more than obvious, so bad she started wearing make up to try and hide it.

But now, Clarke didn't have to be pulled away at eight every night. She had remained by his side all week, today being the only time they were really separated for a few hours while she went to school.

Abby hadn't exactly approved, but Clarke had slept so much better with him there, able to touch and check on him. Bellamy pulled out his wallet and got her favorite candy bar before returning to the car.

"How'd it go?" She asked.

He smiled and gave her the candy. "It was fine, I am now stitch free. Now, for the love of every pop punk band on earth, stop worrying," he laughed.

She took the candy with a small smile, meeting his eyes. "I'm sorry. I know I was a little crazy the last couple of weeks."

Bellamy brushed her hair behind her ear, rubbing her cheek with his thumb. "Don't apologize, if it had been you, security would have drug me out in handcuffs. I know it was awful for you, I know it was. I can't even imagine how you felt, and do not ever make me experience that," he said, seriously. Until she smiled. "Now, I'm healed. So, I want to celebrate."

"Okay, what do you want to do as a celebration?"

Bellamy didn't have to think before he answered, he had already thought of what he wanted. "I want you to drive me up to the mountains. I want to get a room in a log cabin or at least a log hotel. I want you to be naked in front of a fireplace."

Clarke looked at him, blushing. "And when did you plan this out?"

Bellamy shrugged. "I had a lot of time to myself in the hospital."

Clarke cleared her throat. "Okay, then that's what we'll do. But, we're coming back on Sunday," she told him, pulling out of the parking lot.
