Reunion(Ch.29)

Squishy's pov

During free time our class splits up and goes to different classrooms.

I go to my new class and ask my teacher what to do.

She tells me since its just the first day of school just go talk to people today.

I look around the room and see someone familiar.

I notice her look at me and then quickly look away.

I decide to go up to her.

"H-hi!" I say as I tap on her shoulder.

She looks at me and says," Hi?"

"I'm--"  I get cut off.

"I know." She says.

"Wdym?" I ask.

Is this really her.

"I-its me... Y/N. She says her eyes a little teary.

It is her!

I hug her and say, "I missed you so much! Why did you stop talking to me and Vlyad?" I ask feeling my eyes well up.

A few tears roll down her face as she hugs back and says, " I couldn't deal with the world at that moment."

"Why?" I ask.

More tears go down her face, " You know how I told you my parents were sick and they went in to go get surgery?" She asks.

"Yeah."

"And how they stayed in the hospital for a few months?"

"Yeah."

"It turns out they died in the first month." She says as she sobs.

"Oh Y/N I'm so sorry." I say to comfort her.

"I was so mad that my brother lied to me that I though I couldn't trust anyone anymore. I built a shell to 'protect' myself."

"Well now you know you can trust me. For forever." I say laughing a bit.

She laughs too and I can tell she feels better.

We talk more and catch up during free time.

"Are you an Vlyad still dating?" She asks me.

"Y-yeah." I say as I start to blush.

"Aww you guys are so coot together!" She says.

"Th-thanks! Speaking of Vlyad have you seen/talked to him yet?" I ask.

"Y-yeah I saw him this morning but I didn't talk to him. I don't think he noticed it was me either. I hid my face."

"Oh ok."

"Sorry" she says.

"Its ok! Hey we can talk to him at recess later!" I say cheerfully.

"Uh do you think I'm ready?" She asks clearly unsure.

I nod and say," If your ready to talk to me then you'll surely be ready to talk to him."

"Uh ok." She says.

"You'll be fine!" I say.

"Ok I believe you!" She says laughing a bit.

We talk for the rest of class time and then its recess time.

"You ready?" I ask Y/N.

"Y-yeah Ig..." She says.

"C'mon let's go find him!" I say pulling her around the playground.

Y/N pov

Me and squishy try to find Vlyad when we see him walking around the track with Madison.

"Who's that girl he's walking with?" Squishy asks clearly kinda jealous.

"That's Madison! That's a girl we met this morning. She's really nice and....coot." I say whispering the 'coot' part.

"Oh oki let's go talk to them!"

We run over to them and as soon as we get close I more and more scared to talk to Vlyad.
