Entry Three
Dear Diary,
Monday's are truly awful.
I went through the morning feeling bored and tired, which is a bad combination. None of my friends are in my morning classes, either. That of course doesn't help.
Anaheim High is a pretty big school, and getting new kids is nothing new. But, today, everyone was freaking out over this new kid.
Turns out, I have English and History with him.
"Hi," he smiled as he introduced himself to my English class. "I'm Blake, and I'm from Oklahoma."
A boy in the back snickered. "What're you doing here, country boy?"
I rolled my eyes. "Shut up, Anderson." a girl spat at him. The class laughed.
"Okay, that's enough," the teacher ushered Blake to his spot. "Now, let's continue with the lesson."
I haven't been able to shake something off, though. I could've sworn he was staring at me as he sat down. I was probably imagining stuff. Maybe I wanted him to notice me?
Not going to lie, he was hot.
He had sea blue eyes that sparkled like jewels, curly brown hair, broad shoulders and amazing dimples. He also had a country accent, which is actually kind of cute. Not to mention, he's super tall.
Doesn't mean I like him, though. I'm sure the other thousands of girls in the school would grab his attention before I could. Besides, I think it's been proved that no one will ever love me, right? So, why bother?
I tried to forget about him, but he was all people were talking about.
"Have you guys seen the new kid?" Christina asked as she sat down at our lunch table.
"Who hasn't?" Alicia piped. "He's sooo cute."
Christina nodded. "Yeah. I still think Adam's the hottest boy at this school, for sure. The newbie's definitely, though."
Alicia raised her eyebrow. "Don't you have a boyfriend?"
"Yeah," Christina said like it was nothing. "Look, I've been friends with Adam since middle school. Just because I think he's hot doesn't mean I have a crush on him."
I roll my eyes. "Whatever, xtina."
"What's the new kid's name again?" Pharrell asked.Christina concentrated. "Um, wasn't it like Black? Blaine? Blaire?"
"Blake," I answer. "It's Blake."
"Oh," Christina blushes. "That makes more sense." we all chuckle a little.
Something catches Alicia's eyes. "Look! He's with the populars."
We all turn to see Blake sitting with the populars, also known as Adam, Justin, and Shawn. The models, Behati, Cara and Kendall were sitting with them.
"Well, there goes my liking for him," Alicia rolled her eyes.
"Shut up, Alicia," Christina says. "They're not that bad!"
I blanked out there conversation as I looked over at the blue eyed boy-whom I realized was staring right at me.
His eyes stared right through mine; like all my secrets just became his, too. I feel like I knew his secrets, also. Weird, huh?
"Gwen!" Pharrell pinched me, trying to get my attention. But, all I could think about were those blue eyes.
It's going to be an interesting rest of the school year.
Until next time,
Gx
