Entry Twenty-Five
Dear Diary,
Christmas is the best time of year, hands down. I mean, think about it. You don't have school, you can sit around drinking hot cocoa and candy canes all day while listening to Christmas music...what a life!
I'm currently curled up besides Blake as we watch Rudolph in my family room. The Christmas tree illuminated the dim room with colorful lights and ornaments. We got a real Christmas tree this year, so the room smelled like pine. I was under a pile of blankets, acting like it was cold out even though it's like 90 degrees.
That's the sad part about living in California; it never snows and it's always hot. I've never had a snow day in my life.
Todd is back for the holidays. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss him. My mom and dad are ecstatic to see him again. Life is pretty good right now, if I do say so myself.
