Last day with the bat

*Sonic Eternal*

  Yesterday was when Mary came back. She has been gone for a week and I am wondering why she is acting so differently? She won't tell me what's wrong when its obvious something isn't right.

  "Sonic come on! I want to go to the fair!" Mary says while pulling on my arm. I sigh and give in. I pick Mary up and race over to the fair she wanted to go to in Washington.

  Once we get their she pulls me from one ride to the next. Not stopping to eat. I wonder what is going on? But I am not sure. She is enjoying herself which makes me happy but their is a hint of sadness in her eyes.

  "Well well well. What do we have here?" A guy with a black leather jacket says walking up to me and Mary.

  "If your trying to be tough and threaten us then you might want to turn around before you get hurt." Mary says while getting behind me.

  "Well I wasn't thinking about it but...now that you mention it I'd love that sweet ass red jacket your wearing dude! I love how it looks like there's blood stains on it." He laughs while pulling out a gun and fixing it onto me. Its a desert eagle and the idiot has the safety on.

  "You clearly have no idea how to use that." After I say that I realize he isn't alone and go around Mary and with a single punch knock out a guy twice my height and size.

  The guy now behind me gets scared and tries to fire his gun three times each time failing cuz it still has the safety on. Before he can realize why its like that I already took his gun from him and hit him in the head knocking him out.

  "Told them they should have walked away!" Mary says running up to hug me.

  "You OK Mary?"

  "As long as I got you I am."

  "Should we go home?"

  Mary takes out her phone and sees that its almost nine pm. She has a curfew now cuz of Anubis  kidnapped her. It kinda bites but I know I'll see her tomorrow.

  "Sonic I told my parents I was with u and that I wouldn't be in trouble at all if you are with me. So I can stay out as late as I want to tonight..."

  "Then where do you want to go now?"

  Her eyes lit up when I said that. She looked so happy I didn't want to take her home so I could see those starry eyes all night.

  She takes me by the hand and leads me over to the rollar coasters. I don't think I've seen anyone with a bigger smile on their face before.

  About seven minutes pass by and we are getting on our second coaster when something unexpected happens. The parks power goes out. Not just for the coaster but for everything. Its really bad since people are on rides high in the air and the power won't let them come down smoothly. So what do I do? I use my speed and strength to fix it so everyone is safe and sound then get back to Mary before anyone realizes what's up.

  "Sorry folks but the parks closed now! Everyone needs to go home!" A worker announces while standing on top of the control board for the roller coaster.

  Everyone groans and grunts. I take Mary's hand knowing she would be upset and take her somewhere else. After I take her hand though I pick her up and run her to the top of the Iffle Tower. It was a bit of a run but if you can run on water and are on a date with your girlfriend are you not going to do this?

  It takes Mary a minute to realize what's going on before she sees where we are now. She thought we were still at the park but not anymore. She turns around and hugs me with tears in her eyes.

  "You brute why did you have to take me to the most romantic place on earth?" She asked me burring her face into my shoulder.

  I pet her head and kiss her cheek. I also wipe off her tears. I can't tell if these are happy tears or tears of sadness. I hope they are happy tears but something tells me it is the opposite.

  "Mary want me to take you home? Its really late and I don't know how long I can keep you out."

  "Only if you stay at my place tonight..."

  I nod and bring her home. I let us both in and it turned out her parents did let me keep her out as late as I wanted to. I guess they trust me. They even let me sleep in Mary's room tonight. We both lay down in her bed and thats when I found out that she has a thing for vampires and has had one for a long time. Its obvious cuz her blankets have vampire bats

Hey everyone! Only one more chapter of the girl who fell in love with a bat! Also if it seams weird with how its put together I'm sorry I have only been writing this book on my phone so it isn't really put together well for those who use computers. Only a few other of my books are like this now. The rest are done on a computer. Anyways hope you all like this chapter!
