Monsters are real Mary

"Mary Star*

  "What do you mean monsters are real? Of course they are real aren't you a monster?" Sonics dad asks me.

  "No sir I'm a normal human girl....wait I get it this entire monster thing is a prank right?" It has to be a prank. Good one Sonic I'll get you back for this one.

  "Girl if this was a prank then explain how Sonic has blood on his face? Also how can you explain the giant fang marks where he bit me are? Seriously you need to wake up and face the facts!"

  "But....but....but...." All I can do is repeat myself and say but a lot.

  "Forget that right now we need to find Sonic some pure blood!"

  "Pure....blood? What are you talking about Mr. Eternal?" I'm beyond confused but if all of this is real then Sonic is badly hurt.

  "In everyone there is both light and darkness. Sonic has the rare ability unique to us vampires. He can swap his pure blood that only has light in it and trade its place with the dark blood that corrupts humans and monsters. That's why the blood on his face is black. He needs light blood fast!"

  "I wish I could help but he just drank and replaced my dark blood so I don't want to hurt him anymore...why don't you trade blood with him?"

  "No it can't be vampires blood...besides he won't do it unless the person has pure blood only. He is to kind hearted even though he has much darkness in him. As well if the person has pure blood only then the dark blood will be completely destroyed instead of transfered."

  Sonic's dad and the...mini ogre were talking for awhile discussing on how to help Sonic. I got inpatient and when I saw Sonics mouth open and his fangs showing I decided to do something about it myself. Without the two arguing monsters noticing I  pull Sonics head up. Then I sink his fangs into my arm and when I let out a little "ow" they noticed what I had just done.

  "Mary you idiot what have you done!?"

  "I'm trying to help Sonic!"

  "But.."

  "Wait old friend look at Sonic." Sonic's father said and we both looked at Sonic who at this point was healing rapidly. His nose bleed stopped. his nose was bleeding before we got here because someone tripped and fell. After about another minute Sonic finally opened his eyes slowly.

  "M....Mary?" Sonic tries to say my name. He must not be completely aware of what's happening because his fangs are still in my arm. I just smile at him. Its when he tries to smile back he realizes something is strange. He pushes my arm out of his mouth and his fangs cut me a bit while he does so. "Fuck Mary what do you think your doing!?"

  "Trying to help you dumbass." I try to have a straight face then but when I feel like I'm about to cry a bit because of how happy I am I decide to pout instead.

  "Mary"

  "..."

  "Mary!"

  "I'm not listening to you Sonic."

  "Son give her some slack. She saved your life. Even though she is a human she saved you. Also we may have let it slip about the monster world to her. We were so focused on trying to save you we didn't consider if she was human." Sonics dad tries to apologize. Why is he apologizing to Sonic though? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

  "Its fine dad. I'm sorry for making you worry. I know I have to be more careful. Thing is I can't be a guardian that the monster world feared like you dad they all think I'm weak so they always try to test my power and try to take control I'll work harder I promise!" Sonic sounds really sad.

  I'm about to speak up when I see Sonic and Mr. Eternal hugging each other. I just stand there....a little jealous that me and my parents aren't this close. However I also like that we aren't this close because that gives me room to go and have fun with my friends whenever I want. I turn around and exit the house. I am on the sidewalk about to head home when someone grabs my wrist gently.

  "Mary...I'm sorry for snapping at you before. Thank you Mary."

  I turn around to see a extremely happy Sonic. I swear his smile is so big that if it was any bigger he would have a mouth for a head.

  "Your welcome Sonic....I'll do anything to help my friends and like it or not I think of you as my friend Sonic."

  I then get close to him and hug him. My head rests on his chest and I can feel how hard his abs were. I thought he was ripped but now I think he is made of metal. Only thing that made me think otherwise was the fact that I could hear his heart beat. While he was hesitating I heard his heart get faster. That caused the same effect for mine. I am just about to look up and say something when he hugs me back. He probably wanted to put his head down on mine but when I looked up our lips were locked together. I was stunned but I knew what my heart wanted. I just let my heart then take over my actions.
