Under the Mask.

Chapter 2 Adrien/CN

It was the night. Adrien was going to meet Marionette. He was excited. Marionette was a very pretty, smart, and kind.  A great friend. 

"C'mon Plagg! Let's get going!" He called and Plagg flew into his inside coat pocket. 

Adrien left the house and started to walk to the movies. When he got there Marionette wasn't there. She was either late, or decided to ditch him. He sighed and decided to wait a little longer before fully deciding Marionette wasn't showing. 

He heard running feet and there she was, running to him, a worried expression on her face and out of breath. Adrien couldn't help but laugh a bit. 

TIME SKIP

Adrien was shocked that Marionette would pick a horror movie, considering she was easily startled, but he let it slide. Everyone was different after all. Near the end of the movie, the music started to get more intense, hinting a jumpscare was coming. 

It came, and when it did Marionette hugged Adrien tightly letting out a small scream. Adrien laughed and patted Marionette's hand. "It's ok Mari, it's just a movie, none of its real." 

Marionette cleared her throat and took her arms off of him and sat back in her chair. Adrien smiled and turned back to the screen and a familiar black and purple butterfly flew through the theatre. 

"An Acuma..." Marionette said barely being able to keep her gaze off of it. 

"Uhh excuse me Marionette I have to go the restroom." Adrien got up and Marionette got up too. 

Adrien ran outside and hid behind a building. "Plagg claws out!" He transformed and a little bit later he heard. 

"Tikki Spots on!" he turned around and there stood Marionette, a Ladybug outfit covering her real one.  

"Ladybug?" Marionette turned. "Chat! Uhhh...!" She ran up to him as they were spread apart by a bit. "Chat.. wait." Marionette studied him. "What were you doing so close to the acuma and theatre?" 

"I could ask you the same thing Bug-A-Boo!" Chat Noir winked. "I was enjoying a nice film and saw the acuma!" 

Ladybug studied him. "Watching it with someone? Or were you alone?" 

While Chat Noir was thinking of a pun and clever comeback, he looked behind Ladybug and saw something, it was getting closer, and closer, and 

"WATCH OUT!" He jumped on Ladybug and rolled to the side as it dived at Ladybug. 

It landed on the ground and somersaulted a few feet away. Chat Noir stared into Ladybugs eyes, not knowing what to do. Her bluebell eyes putting him in a trance. He eventually got up and turned around at the acumatized villager. 

It had brown long hair with green eyes, wearing a familiar outfit. A fox suit that looked like an outfit a superhero would have, but Chat Noir wasn't fooled, he couldn't be, not again. Not after almost losing Ladybug. 

"Volpina." Chat Noir and Ladybug both said with pure anger. 

"What are you doing here?" Ladybug said swinging her yoyo in a circle. 

"Well, sometimes I want to have a little fun. And I think Chat Noir will too." Volpina turned her gaze from Ladybug to Chat Noir. Her eyes flashed green. Chat Noir and Ladybug got knocked back. Ladybug got up first and ran over to Chat Noir.

"Chat! Are you ok?" Ladybug worriedly held out her hand to help him up.

Chat lifted his head and got up. He nodded then looked at Volpina. 

"Wanna have fun Chat?" Volpina said with a smile.

Chat nodded forcefully. WHAT ARE YOU DOING ADRIEN GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF!  Adrien said to himself, but he walked to Volpina. Volpina put her arm around his neck and Chat put his arm around her hip and took out his staff. He extended it and jumped onto the rooftops and ran all the way to Agreste Mansion. 

"CHAT!" Ladybug through her yoyo to Chat's ankle and got towed all around with him.
