The next day, Marionette arrived at school she noticed a lot of awkward tension in the crowd of students. She walks inside the building and sees even Chloe giving off an awkward feeling. She say Alya who was sitting on a bench with her phone out.
"Alya, what's going on?"
Alya looks up. "Lila is back, attending the school." she says in an annoyed voice.
Marionette eyes narrow. "What!"
Alya pointed to a set of stairs. Lila was standing at the bottom talking with Adrien. Marionette couldn't hear what about but she didn't like the thought of a liar talking to her boyfriend. She walks over to them and Adrien catches a glance of her. He step sides Lila and runs to meet Marionette.
He embraces her and Marionette laughs. Lila stands there in silence.
"Who's this?" she finally says. Adrien turns.
"Marionette, my girlfriend." He says.
Marionette smiles. She had to forgive Lila. She lied so she could get affection from Adrien. She was love sick. It wasn't her fault. Even the stabbing of Chat. She was under Hawkmoth's control and technically it was Marionette's fault. She through the dagger. Marionette held out her hand. "I don't believe we have met. It's nice to meet you, Lila."
Lila studies her, then holds out her hand. "It's nice to meet you, Marionette. So you're dating Adrien huh?"
Marionette blushes. "Y-yeah!"
Lila laughs and pulls her hand away after they shake hands. "You're one lucky girl. Boy's like these are hard to come across."
Marionette glances back at Adrien who was standing behind her. "I know."
Lila looks at Adrien. "Hold on to her. She's something special." Lila turns and walks up the stairs.
Marionette turns back to Adrien. He smiles and shrugs. "Guess I'll have to hold you really tight to make sure you don't run away." Adrien grabs her wrist and pulls her into a tight hug.
"Adrien!" Marionette smiles and laughs. Adrien laughs too. Alya comes up behind them.
"What you two doing?" She gives a sly smiles.
Marionette blushes. "Hugging." She says.
Alya laughs. "Well you're gonna have to huug in class because the bell is about to ring."
Marionette nods. "Right. C'mon." They all walk up to their class, Adrien and Marionette holding hands.
