Marinette wakes up early to pack. Once she is done, she walks downstairs where she waits outside. Adrien said she was going to pick her up and she didn't want to be late. Tikki flies around her bag trying to keep warm from the cold early morning.
Marinette smiles as she hugs her jacket to keep the warm air inside. A limo pulls up and the backdoor opens, Adrien is sitting there smiling. Marinette walks up to the car and sits inside beside Adrien.
"I'm surprised how early you are up." He smiles at her, making her blush.
"Ha ha, you're late. I was standing out there for a while."
Adrien places a kiss on her cheek. "Yeah but at least you aren't gonna be sitting there for hours only a few minutes, right?"
"Like ten minutes." She smiles and kisses his chin.
Adrien smiles and Marinette puts her head on his chest.
They make it to the airport. Adrien gets out but Marinette stays put, examining the leather of the seat.
"You ready?" Adrien asks, smiling. Marinette grins at him.
"Nervous, but yeah. I'm ready." She gets out of the car and Adrien gets their luggage. Marinette grabs hers and gets out her passport and puts it in her coat pocket.
They walk in and the place seemed deserted. They make it to security in 5 minutes and get in and out in 3. Their flight doesn't leave in an hour. Marinette rubs her arms and feels something wrap around her.
She snuggles against Adriens chest as he pulls her closer. "This is it." Adrien says.
Marinette nods, staring at Adrien's sleeve. "I'm worried.." she says.
"So am I, but we can't someone getting these miraculous that isn't a good fit for a hero. Together we will get them back though." He says smiling. Marinette smiles and nods.
"Together." she laces her fingers with his.
They give the guy the ticket and board the plane with 6 other people. The pilot and assistants let them sit in first class, which Marinette thought was strange. She sits in her chair which is so comfortable. She's never been on first class so she was very excited.
Adrien laughs as Marinette bounces in her chair. "Now your excited?"
"I've never been on first class! Actually, I've never been on an airplane."
Adrien looks off, "I wish it was under different circumstances."
Marinette places her hand on his. "Hey, like you said. It's gonna be fine. We will get the miraculous and we are gonna do it together" She laced her fingers with his.
She looks back at her and kisses her hand. "You're right. I just, I sometimes think it's unfair. We are still classified as kids and we now not only have to save Paris, but the world."
The intercom silences Marinette.
"We will soon be taking off, please fasten your seat belts and enjoy the flight."
Marinette and Adrien both buckled their seat belts and heard others click theirs into place.
Within minutes they were in the sky. Marinette looked out the window. She looked at the rising sun shining on Paris. "It's beautiful isn't it?"
Marinette could practically hear Adrien smile. "Yeah, not as beautiful as you though." Marinette blushed and laughed.
"You're sweet." She kissed his nose. Then she became sleepy.
Marinette yawned and put her head back on the seat.
Adrien lifted the arm rest and patted his legs. "Lay down, you will get a strained neck if you sleep like that."
Marinette smiled and layed on his legs. Her eyelids felt heavy and she fell asleep.
