Adrien jumps back and Plagg hides inside of Adrien's over button down shirt. A girl, her clothes almost blended in with the city behind her. Adrien could barely see her, his eyes strained trying to make the figure.
"Adrien!" The voice was high pitched and too familiar. The figure was no longer see-through. A girl in a bee costume, with blonde hair in a high ponytail. A mask that made her eyes pop. Bright blue but her pupils were so small, like she was going insane.
"Finally! I have you alone. We can finally run away together! Have a life in another country!" Her eye twitched.
"Chloe? Is that you!" Adrien asked backing up.
"Queen Bee now! Now come Adrien! Let's run away like we always wanted to as kids! We can start a new life, just us two!"
Adrien reached for his phone in his back pocket. If he could call Marinette, she would hear what is going on and come. He prayed for Plagg to get the message as he put it behind his back. He felt the phone lift from his hand. He slightly heard Plagg texting and the quiet ringing of the phone connecting.
He could kinda hear Mari accepting the call and Plagg put on speaker.
"C'mon Adrien! Let's go away. We can finally live in our fantasy world. Maritrash isn't here anymore, you don't have to waste time on her anymore!"
He heard the phone hang up and behind Chloe came closer a red blur that turned into his girlfriend's alter ego. A yoyo hit Chloe in the back of the head. She turned and growled. "Ladybug."
"Chloe? Wow. What happened to you?"
"It's Queen Bee thank you very much! Now Ladybug hand over your miraculous!"
"I don't think so!" Ladybug threw her yoyo and wrapped around Adrien, it then reeled him to Ladybug. The string unraveled around him, and Ladybug gripped onto Adrien and they swung to the next building.
"Whoops! Looks like I got an extra passenger!" Ladybug laughs and leaped to the next roof.
Adrien laughed then a while later heard buzzing. He turned to see what that loud buzzing was and saw Queen Bee actually flying with the wings that were on her costume. "Uhm, Mari, Queen Bee can fly, and I think she can fly faster then you can run."
She caught a glimpse back. "Oh shi-" She was caught off guard by a swarm of real bees heading to her. Adrien pulled of Ladybug's shoulder, and got them off balance. He took Ladybug's yoyo and through it. It attached to a sign for a bakery and he handed the end to Ladybug.
"Smart thinking!" She said and swung inside the bakery. Adrien ran to the back while Ladybug ran to the guy running the place. "I need your keys. Now!" The man handed over the keys and Ladybug locked the door and flipped the open sign to a closed sign, She turned off the lights and she told everyone to duck behind the counter.
"What's going on here?" The man asked, concerned.
"An akumatized villager is after us and we need a place to hide for a while. I was wondering if you could leave. I know it's your bakery but I need to untransform."
The baker blinked twice and nodded. "I'll go out the back. But what about this young man." He motioned to Adrien.
Ladybug twiddled with her finger and Adrien could tell she got an idea. "He has to stay with me, Queen Bee is also after him, but when I untransform, he will spend the time in the bathroom."
The baker nodded. "You're doing great for Paris, thank you Ladybug." The baker left.
"Tikki spots off." Ladybug said, she stretched and Tikki came out of her earing. Tikki sprung for the cookies that were on display.
Plagg came out of Adrien's over shirt. "Do they have any Camembert? I'm hungry!"
"Plagg! This is a bakery! Not a wine and cheese stop!" Adrien said back. Mari dug some cash out of her pants.
"Is this enough to buy a thing of cheese?" Mari asked showing Adrien what money she had.
"Maybe, but we can't go outside!"
"You maybe, and not Ladybug, and not Chat Noir, but maybe Marinette can?" Mari said
"Oh my, fine! Just be careful." Adrien sighed. Tikki finished a cookie and flew to Mari.
"No, Tikki you stay here. I'll take off an earring if I get in trouble, Adrien Tikki will disappear is that happens. Come as Chat Noir to help. Adrien would get slaughtered by bees."
Adrien and Tikki nodded. "Ok."
"Be safe." Adrien said
"Don't get attacked by bees!" Tikki added.
"You are my new favorite human, no offense Adrien, but she's risking her life for me to eat! You picked a good girl, kid!" Plagg added.
Marinette laughed and left.
