Hayley's P.O.V.

After I'm finished getting ready for the day, I smile at the fact that I can celebrate something today. Taylor's birthday. He promised to meet me at the coffee shop in town. The last time I was there I got coffee spilled all over me, but hey, I'm with Taylor today. I'm wearing the usual skinny jeans, and an orange, fuzzy sweater shirt.

As soon as my car is safely parked, I walk into the shop knowing Taylor will already be there because I'm six minutes late, and he's always on time. I spot him sitting in a booth toward the back wall and walk to him with a huge smile. "Taylor!" I say almost all the way to his booth. "It's your birthday!"

"Hayley!" he says standing up and mocking me. "I know!"

"Ah shut up," I respond hugging him, not able to shake off my smile. As soon as Taylor pulls away from our hug, I peck him on the lips, both of us sitting down at the booth across from each other. "I hope you know I've planned absolutely nothing and we are going to wing the whole day,"

"I didn't expect you to plan anything, we don't have to do anything huge, I just want to spend the day with you," Taylor replies with a smile, taking my hand in his from across the table.

"You're so cheesy. We should spend the day up on that hill you took me to on our first date," I suggest excitedly. I'll admit, I haven't been in such a good mood in a long time.

"Won't it be cold up there?" he asks me giggling a bit.

"Who cares? It's so cool up there!" I say as a waitress walks over to our table. This isn't a Starbucks kind of place, this is like a cute little cafe that no one knows about, even though their coffee is amazing.

"Okay, okay. You have to do something for me though," Taylor tells me in a more serious tone as my smile turns to an emotionless expression with a new pair of furrowed eyebrows. "You have to eat something first. That is all I want for my birthday,"

I spend a good moment hesitating before I answer his request. I have to eat eventually, and besides, this day is suppose to be happy. "Fine, Taylor Benjamin Button York, I will eat a muffin, but you aren't allowed to make a huge deal out of it, promise?" I ask carefully. He nods yes and smiles, and I can't help but smile back.

We stop at my house before we head to the big hill overlooking the sky on one side, and the city on the other. Taylor waits by the door as I run and grab only a couple items; a jacket, my acoustic guitar, and my other acoustic guitar. I walk toward the door, and Taylor gives me a funny look. "Do you need more guitars?" he asks me.

"No, I need more hands," I respond as he laughs and takes one of the guitars from me. "What are we going to do, stare at each other up there?"

"I wouldn't mind that actually, I mean staring at me is kind of creepy but I can stare at you all day," T states walking out the door.

"Ew," I reply getting into his car. "I'm not sure why you would want to do that, but I guess that's a compliment so thank you dork," I reach over and peck Taylor's cheek as we drive to the big hill as he chuckles.

Once at the top, we move toward the end of the huge hill, where there is an old oak tree waiting for company, as the light snow doesn't reach uder it's bare branches."This is so bad for these guitars, but I really don't even care anymore," I say sitting down on the roots. Taylor laughs and starts to take the guitar out of it's case, and my smile brightens. He looks at it in awe, because I know that he didn't know I had this acoustic.

"Did you get a new one? It must've been so expensive, I hear these play really well," he says looking at it like a little kid in a candy store.

"Yeah, I did, just a couple days ago. I've been saving up for it for a little while," I explain with a giggle.

"You must have been saving up for a long time, Fender's are expensive as anything," T says still looking at the guitar. It is beautiful, with dark wood and it's brand new steel strings. The fret board looks untouched, unlike my other guitar, which is beaten up and old. I still love my guitar more than anything though, and wouldn't trade it for the world.

"They are. I hope you like it, I could've bought clothes for myself or something," I say giggling at him. His jaw drops and he looks at me with wide eyes. I laugh at his reaction to my surprise for him as he is in complete shock.

"Did you...?" he tries to say. He probably can't even put two and two together right now. I nod yes and he looks at me like I'm insane, down at the guitar, and back up at me. "Are you completely insane?! These are so expensive!"

"Happy birthday," I say with a huge smile, still laughing. "I knew you'd love it,"

"I love you so much it is hurting my brain right now, really," T replies. I bring him into a longer kiss as I smile like crazy, and I can feel him smile as well.

"I love you too," I respond after our shared kiss.

"You're insane though, I mean, you didn't have to get me anything,"

"Yes I did! You're 25 today! That's half of a middle aged person!" I tell him as he laughs at my comment comparing him to a middle aged man or woman. "Try it out! There's a pick somewhere in the case,"

"What do you want me to play?" he asks politely, still in his own land at the moment.

"Well, Button, I was thinking the other day, and since it is a special day, I was thinking we should do a special song," I suggest with a suspicious smile and hidden ideas to come. "Jeremy is coming for a little while with his bass and we are going to record a special video for the fans and everything for All I Wanted,"

"Are you serious? How in the world and I suppose to top this for your birthday?!" he asks shocked at my decision.

"You don't have to do anything for me. This is fun for me, too. I warmed up all morning," I explain.

"Hayley Nichole Spongebob Williams, I love you even more when you're happy. I can't wait until we can be this happy every single day," T tells me smiling.

"Maybe one day," I say. That's all I say. Maybe one day, just not until Angela is out of our hair.

"Not maybe, but when it happens. I know we will be happy very soon,"

Hehehehehehe...thought I'd throw some happy things in there for you as we slowly approach our ending. Your welcome, and well, not welcome too because sad things.
