Hayley's P.O.V.
After a long day, I realized how much fun I've had. Because I had such a good time with Taylor, I ate dinner. I had a grilled chicken salad, which really filled me up, but I haven't seen Taylor smile that much in months. I love that smile so much it hurts, so I don't care what I do if I can see him wear it. I would eat a lizard for him, which takes a lot of guts for someone like me.
"I have to stop at my house before your house, unless you want to just stay with me," Taylor says watching the road. He is adorable when he drives, because he looks serious and focused. I love when he does that; being adorable without trying to be.
"We can just stay there," I respond with a small smile. I don't at all mind staying with Taylor...
"Alright, that's what we'll do then," he replies with a smile. This is too much of a good day, I know something bad will happen. It has too, with Angela and the men everywhere.
As we approach Taylor's driveway, my phone starts to buzz uncontrollably, signalling a call. The number matches Jeremy's, so I pick it up with a curious drive. "Hello?" I ask into the phone.
"I have some birthday news for you!" Jeremy tells me excitedly. "Andrew has been officially arrested with the life sentence!"
"Are you serious?" I ask into the phone, completely shocked by his statement, tears springing to my eyes.
"Very serious. Him and two other men named Luke and Carter. Happy birthday!"
"Thank you! I don't know what to even say..." I try to get out. It's true, I have no idea what to even think. One of the many men who tried to kill me, is locked behind bars with Baylie and Liz. "I've got to go, I'll talk to you soon," With that I hang up, getting out of the now parked car.
"What was that about?" Taylor asks shutting the car door, walking to the front door of his home. I basically jump into his arms, wrapping my arms around his neck, burying my face in his chest. I'm crying on him, well, close to sobbing, and so Taylor wraps his arms around me tight, asking me what in the world is going on. I let go and smile, looking into his endless eyes.
"Three of the men have been arrested. One of them being the one who tried to kill me personally," I say quietly, still smiling like nobody's business.
"I told you it would get better!" Taylor replies excitedly, bringing me into a hug. I feel him kiss my head, and I pull away, bringing him into a soft kiss. My hands are cupping his face, and Taylor's are around me. "I love you so so much,"
"Maybe. But I love you ten times more," I reply kissing his nose. "I'm not sure we should be doing this outside though,"
"Well alright then Miss Williams," T agrees opening the door for me. I giggle a bit and walk in, hearing a noise from upstairs.
"What was that?" I ask him as he shuts the door and walks toward me.
"What was what?" Taylor asks looking completely lost. I shake it off and, as usual, jump on the couch, grabbing the bluest pillow I could see, curled into a ball hugging it tight. "I think you're obsessed with that pillow,"
"Nope. It belongs to my favorite person, so it smells like that person. I love that smell. It's his favorite color, too," I explain smiling at nothing. When Taylor sits on the couch, I quickly sit up before he can say a single word, or even half of one, and desirously press my lips against his. My thank you for a day of happiness that I haven't had in a long time. "Thank you," I say pulling away after a good moment.
"For what?" Taylor asks me softly, his hand brushing over my cheek.
"Everything," I answer honestly. "Everything you've done, and everything you, fortunately, haven't done,"
"I just really really love you," he responds. I smile a little bit, and look farther into his eyes that I have yet to get over.
"I really love you as well Mr. Button," I declare, our foreheads touching. It's moments like this that I live for, and that I believe make me smile the most. Moments like these make me want to live, and to be honest with life. Taylor's smile makes my stomach flip flop, and even giggle nervously a bit. "You know what I want for my birthday?" I whisper.
"What?" Taylor asks me in a raspy, quiet voice. I'm surprised I don't just fall over right there, but I feel myself blush.
"First, actually, remember when you told me to take my shirt off to check my bruises and I said how it was way too seductive how you said it? Yeah. You just did it again," I explain in a giggly tone.
"Oh really?" he asks in an even more seductive voice. It truly does hurt to know that not everyone has a Taylor in their life. I giggle for the millionth time, and bring his lips to mine, this time we keep our kiss for a longer time before we let it fly away.
"That's all I wanted," I tell him simply. "I just wanted you, Taylor Benjamin Button York,"
----
"I have to show you something," Taylor tells me getting up from the couch. I sit up from my laying position with a confused look and smile a little. As he holds his hand out for me to take, I smile to myself even more, and take the gentle hand, standing up and following Taylor's lead up the stairs.
"Did you get a lamb for real?" I ask sarcastically, hearing soft chuckles from the happy looking man. Taylor leads me into his room, as I get more confused by the second, and his hand squeezes mine in an excited way, making me anxious to know what it is to show me.
As soon as he opens the door, I see an adorable Yorkshire Terrier laying upside down on the bed, relaxing and living the life. "He doesn't have a name yet," Taylor mentions.
I basically run over to the small dog, and he looks up at me, now standing, and bright eyes shining. "Oh my gosh, he's adorable!" I say scratching behind his ear.
"He's yours," Taylor tells me, a huge smile across his beautiful face from ear to ear.
"Are you for real? Get over here you dork!" I reply seriously excited over everything today has thrown at me, or, handed to me. As I pull him into a long hug, my smile won't seem to fade, and everything bad that once was, is out of sight and out of mind. Nothing matters but this moment, and I've waited months to be able to think those words.
Sorry it's ridiculously short and sloppy. I've made my excuses on my page. The next chapter should be up as soon as possible, so stick with me, because a lot needs to happen!
