A few years after Giovanni and Gwendoline married, they were blessed with a little girl, who they named Aurelia Maria Vargas. She looked very much like her mother with her honey blond hair and light skin tone, but she had gray eyes like her great uncle with hints of red. Since they lived in the castle, Luciano and you often got the daily chance that see the little girl as she grew up. As time progressed, she developed the curl that so dared curse the majority of Vargas men, the only male not having the curl being your second oldest son Edward. Besides that, Anastasia never developed the curl, so that made Aurelia the first Vargas woman to ever inherit the strange curl.
The little girl was now eleven years old and rapidly approaching her teenage years, meaning that the sass would soon come out. Luciano and you had been lucky enough to not have to go through that with any of your children, but you could tell that Aurelia was going to be one sassy sue because Matt had a tendency to be sassy in his younger teens. With Lauren, you weren't sure what she was like as a teenager, but you hoped she was nothing like what Matt was. Either way, the young girl was already exhibiting signs of sass. For instance, she seemingly loved to sass her grandfather the most when you and him would watch her so Giovanni and Gwen could have some time to themselves. There was another issue though. Luciano was strict with her to hopefully break her sass streak, but that only seemed to worsen their relationship until one day, Aurelia lost her composure.
~Flashback~
"Aurelia, if you sass me one more time about finishing your homework on time, so help me, I will make you wish that you had it completed before your parents handed you over for us to watch!"
"I never asked to be watched by you! I'd rather have Grandpa watch me, but no! I get stuck with you as a sorry excuse of a babysitter!"
"Excuse you?!"
"You heard me, Nonno! I hate you! I wish you wish you were never my grandfather, or better yet, that you never existed!"
The little girl stormed out of the room, her feet stomping on the wooden floor as she slammed the door shut behind her. Luciano stood stalk still in shock. He soon shook his head and went to go find you, knowing very well that Aurelia had gone to find one or both of her parents. When he did find you, you were sitting with Flavio in his studio on the white leather couch in the corner. The two of you looked up at him with confusion.
"Where's Aurelia?" you asked
"(Y/n). Flavio. It's time to do the thing."
"What thing?" Flavio inquired.
"The thing."
"Oh!" you both exclaimed and got up.
You ran out of the room to notify both human and vampire maids and butlers that the plan was to take place during the day. Luciano took his brother by the shoulders and looked him dead in the eyes.
"Remember, you have permission to kiss my wife, not fuck her. Do you understand?"
Flavio nodded with a grin. "Of course."
"Bene."
Luciano then left to help you prepare for the changes that would occur around the castle. Word spread quickly around the castle so that all that lived within it were informed that the plan was put into action, all except Aurelia. Everything worked out smoothly since she was to stay at her other grandparent's house out in the woods for a sleep over that day. She was to come back the following night, and when she did, everything was different. Pictures on the walls looked the same, but they didn't at the same time. The flowers and vases had been changed out and so had the curtains. She furrowed her eyebrows as she walked through the corridors until she reached the library. The blonde found you inside reading in your favorite chair.
