Three weeks had passed since Prince Luciano had insulted you. His mother had sent you an apology letter, which you responded by saying that you would only accept an apology directly from him. You received no reply back. This didn't bother you, but your parents were frantic. They were sure that you would be put to death for talking back to a member of the royal family. If that didn't give you the death sentence, then you having slapped the prince surely would have. You still showed no signs of panic. You weren't concerned in the slightest. Well, you weren't until another week passed, and you had been kidnapped. By who, you didn't know. There were plenty of men who would have liked to have kidnapped you. Who would have been desperate enough for your hand in marriage was also beyond you. All you knew is that you woke up the next day blind folded on a bed.

You attempted to take it off but quickly found that your hands were bound by some length of rope. A sigh escaped your lips as you tried to wiggle them free, but the restraints wouldn't budge. Whoever tied it must have been an expert in knot tying because even you with increased strength couldn't undo it. You laid in silence as you gave up for a short time to think. You decided to wait to see if anyone would enter the room to check on you. Your ears detected silence as you sat still. It sounded like early evening as the birds were just quieting down. You could sense that the room's curtains were closed, granted that the room had any windows to be covered with in the first place. Your ears suddenly picked up on the sound of footsteps and hushed whispers approaching the door to your temporary room.

"Your M-Majesty, I apologize, but any o-other method of detaining her in her sl-sleep would have proved futile. She is stronger th-than she looks by far for a woman..."

It sounded like a male of some kind. He seemed slightly scared by whoever he was addressing. By the title of "Your Majesty", you deducted that it was a member of the royal family. Which one ordered tor kidnapping was the question. Perhaps it was the king getting revenge for disrespecting his youngest grandson and slapping him? That was who you were going with. He didn't seem like the kind of man to mess around when it came to family matters, or any matters at all. You swallowed the saliva that had accumulated in your mouth. Was this your end?

"Next time, if there is one, don't be foolish!"

"Prince Luciano...?" you whispered to yourself in the darkness.

The door opened with a quiet creak and closed the same way. Footsteps grew louder until they disappeared at the edge of the bed you were on. Fingers fumbled with the knots in the rope until the person who entered the room growled and cut the ropes with a sharp knife before removing the rope from your wrists. Their hands then went to the blind fold and gently took it off of you. Your eyes adjusted slowly to the light being given off by a candlabra sitting on a small side table. Luciano was standing before you. He looked down at his boots and the floor, his hands clasped behind his back now, still holding on to the cloth blind fold. You looked at him as you stood up from the bed. He refused to meet your gaze, so you took a chance and placed two fingers under his chin before tilting it up so he was looking at you.

Luciano's magenta hues met your (e/c) ones. You removed your fingers from under his chin and crossed your arms. Your foot tapped against the floor in anticipation. He had something to say, but he was holding back. You could see it in is eyes. Considering you were already pissed off from having been kidnapped on his orders, you would only become even more pissed off if he didn't give you a reason for bringing you here. The room fell into an intense silence as you both stared at one another.

        "... I'm sorry..." Luciano mumbled.

"I'm sorry. What was that? I couldn't hear you," you said to him with a mocking tone of sorts.
