Halloween Party (Part 1)

So today Shawn and I are having a Halloween party! I know Halloween isn't for another 2 weeks but we decided to get in the spirit of things! But first, we have to go and get costumes! "Babe! You ready?" I asked . "Yep! Let's go." He replied and we went outside and headed off to the mall.

Once we got there, we were surprised to not see that many fans. Only a few. Shawn and I decided to do a couples costume this year! We're going as Netflix and Chill! I'm being Netflix and he'll be Chill. We didn't want to spend too much money so we're making the costumes our selves. "Let's go to Forever 21!" I said, dragging Shawn with me. We got to the store and I immediately found so many things I wanted. I found a jacket with rose patches on it and a pair of cute jeans. I also found a light pink crop top to go with it. Oh and I got a oversized red sweatshirt! I paid for my things and left. "I thought we said we we only getting the sweatshirts." Shawn pointed out. I playfully hit his arm, "Oh shut up. You don't get it. I like clothes!" He rolled his eyes and we continued walking. We decided to go to Primark and look for Shawn's sweatshirt. Luckily we did. We got a blue sweatshirt for him and we found these cute sunglasses for the both of us to wear too.

We had to stop at Michael's and get some iron on letters to spell out Netflix and Chill. We got the letters and headed back home to put the outfits together.

Once we. Got home. Shawn and I began to work on our outfits. I arranged the letters on my sweatshirt to spell out Netflix and he did the same for Chill. Shawn also added some snowflakes because he's extra. Once we ironed them on, they looked really good! "Ok! That's it! I think they turned out really good babe!" I said, turning to Shawn. He nodded in agreement. I decided to just change now because it's a super comfortable outfit so why not? I put on black ripped jeans, the sweatshirt, and my red converse. Shawn did the same and put on his black skinny jeans and blue vans. Let's just say, we looked hella cute!

So Shawn and I had to set up the house for the party. I ran out and got chips, soda, popcorn, muffins (of course) and pizza! While Shawn stayed home and decorated. When I got home I saw the whole house decorated with orange and black streamers and a huge banner that said "Let's Get Spooky". Cringy, I know. I got out a few bowls and put the chips and popcorn in them, and put stacks of plastic cups out next to the soda. We were NOT doing alcohol. Shawn and i honestly didn't feel like having to deal with people passed out everywhere and who knows what would go on upstairs. Ew. "Babe did you finish decorating?" I asked Shawn. He nodded, coming into the kitchen to help me finish setting up the food. After everything was done, we decided to just sit and wait for everyone to come!
