Rin's POV
So about 6 months ago, I broke up with my ex boyfriend, Alex. He was sweet and caring at first, but eventually he started beating me and sexually assaulting me. I couldn't take it anymore, so I left him. I went to my best friend Shawn. He was always there for me and cares so much for everyone. I went to his house and told him everything. He listened and hugged me, calling me down. That was when he confessed his feelings for me. He told me he loved me. And at that moment, I knew I loved him too. Now today, Shawn decided to take me out to dinner at my favorite restaurant, just because! We dressed up all fancy and headed out. Once we got there, we got a table and sat down. "Thank you so much Shawn, for this." I told him, while looking up from my menu. "No problem babygirl. I just wanted to let you know I love you and I didn't want you to think I don't care. I know that my work schedule can get in the way of some 'us' time." He grabbed my hand and smiled. I blushed and smiled back. "Excuse me for a minute. I just need to use the bathroom." Shawn said as he got up and went to the bathroom. I starred at my menu, looking for something to eat. All of a sudden, I feel hands wrap around my mouth, muffling my terrified screams. We were towards the back of the restaurant, so no one saw us. I was dragged out by the mysterious hooded figure, out the back exit. I looked at my wrist and noticed my bracelet fell off. It must be at the table. Oh god Shawn. Please find me.

I was thrown into the back of a van and I passed out. Once I woke up, I noticed I was in some sort of garage when the trunk doors opened and a pair of arms grabbed my arms roughly, dragging me out and to the ground. I was thrown over the man's shoulder and carried down a hallway and into a room. There was a chair and chains next to it. I was crying at this point. I need Shawn. The man tied me up tight. I swear my circulation was being cut off. That's when my clothes were ripped off and a sudden wave of pain rushed through me.

Shawn's POV
I got out of the bathroom and noticed that Rin was gone. I saw her bracelet on the table. She never takes it off. Something was going on. And it wasn't good. Just then, I heard my phone ringing. Maybe it's Rin. I looked at the caller I.D. and saw 'Babygirl💘😘❤️' I quickly answered. "Rin baby? Where are you?" Instead of heating her sweet angelic voice, I heard a deep voice. "Oh she's here. With me. Here wanna talk to her?" All of a sudden, I heard my girlfriend's screams of terror. "AHHHHH STOP S-STOP PLEASE NO!" I felt tears roll down my cheeks. "STOP WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING TO HER NOW!I WILL FIND YOU AND I WILL HURT YOU SO BAD!" I screamed as I ran to my car. The man laughed, "Good luck Mendes. You stole Rin from me and I'm taking her back. This is all your fault." He said. I could hear Rin's muffled screams in the background. "Please..." I whispered and he hung up. I kept crying and called Ian to help me find her. "Hello?" He said. "I-Ian. I'm picking you up. Rin was kidnapped and is getting hurt by whoever took her." I hung up, not giving him any time to answer. I stepped on the gas pedal and sped towards Ian's house, praying that I wouldn't get pulled over. When I got to his house, he was already outside and immediately got in the car. "Ok so what happened dude?" He asked, putting a hand on my shoulder as I sobbed. "He took her from me. Then he called me and she was screaming for help. He said that I took her away from him and that he was taking back what was his." I cried harder. "Who did?" I shook my head, "I don't know!" I screamed an banged my head on the steering wheel. "Woah Shawn stop!" Ian said. He held me back and opened the car door. "I'm driving. Come on." I nodded and walked to the other side and buckled up. Ian started driving. "So he said that you stole Rin from him?" He asked me. I nodded. "Um who are her Ex's?" He asked. My eyes widened. All of her ex's were good
people and now stay mutual friends with Rin. Except for one guy. Alex. "Alex has her!" I whisper-yelled. Ian's eyes widened in realization "Oh my god." He stepped on the gas pedal and drove quickly to Alex's house. Once we got there, I jumped out of the car and ran to the front door, banging on it. It was locked. I saw a lamp on in one of the windows and saw movement.
I saw Ian coming with a hammer that he found somewhere in the yard. "Here, use this." I grabbed it and smashed the glass, causing it to shatter. I saw Alex's head turn towards me. He started smirking. "Hello Mendes. I see you found me.
You're very smart."
He said. I climbed through the window. "Where is she?! Where's Rin!? Where's my girlfriend!?" I yelled. Alex laughed. "Take a look in the closet, please." He said, motioning towards the closed doors. I carefully walked towards the closet and opened the door. It revealed a horrific sight. She was on the floor, unconscious. Tear stains were on her cheeks. Bruises everywhere on her skin. Her hair was a mess. I could tell she was carelessly thrown in there. I cried so hard. My baby was hurt so bad. I couldn't bare to even think about what he put her through. I turned around. "You monster. You hurt the sweetest person. She is the nicest human being, and you HURT HER!" I punched him, knocking him to the ground. He got up and his
nose started bleeding. Ian came up behind him and punched him in the back and legs, causing him to fall again. I quickly picked up Rin bridal style and climbed through the window. "The cops are on their way Shawn." Ian said. I nodded and put Rin in the back seat and covered her with my sweatshirt. The tears still rolled down my cheeks, not being able to stop. I saw Ian climb out the window and wait in the car for the cops. I sat in the back with Rin, waiting for her to wake up. "Dude we need to get her to the hospital." I said. Ian nodded and soon we heard sirens coming towards us. An ambulance and 2 cop cars came. I saw 4 police officers get out and go into the house, while 2 paramedics came to get Rin. I watched as they lifted her out of the car and onto a stretcher. I followed behind and got in the back with them. Ian was going to drive to the hospital.

We got to the hospital safely and now Rin has been in the hospital room for a few hours now. After a long wait, the doctor came out. "Mr. Mendes." I immediately got up. "You can see her now. Follow me." I nodded and followed the doctor. "She's doing great! She just woke up. We had to give her 9 stitches in her left hand and she did sprain her ankle. Other than that, she just has a few cuts and bruises, but they should heal in about a week to two weeks time." He said as we walked. "Take all the time you need." He said once we got to the door. I opened the door and saw Rin sitting up. She turned her head towards me and smiled. I ran towards her and hugged her gently, being careful of her bruises. "Oh my god Rin. I'm so sorry. I can't believe he did that to you. I am so so so sorry baby." I sobbed into her arms. I could tell she was tearing up because of the cracking in her voice, "it's ok Shawn. It wasn't your fault. I'm ok now. And luckily I'm on the birth control pill. They tested for any signs of possible pregnancy and it came out negative. I'm ok." She said as she gently caressed my brown locks. "I looked up and kissed her. "I'm never leaving you alone again. Whether you like it or not." I said in all seriousness. She laughed. "That's perfectly fine with me. Thank you Shawn."

Wow this one is 1,500 words long. That's the longest chapter I have ever written! I hope you liked it Rin! I actually am really proud of this one! I really like it! Anyways don't forget to vote, comment, and share!
