24. Step 2

Simons POV

It was 11:30 PM so the streets of Finland were rather quiet, it wasn't an eerie quiet though, it was nice. I look down at Vikk and the way he stares at everything with pure happiness, including me. I can't believe I was lucky enough to have met him, if I hadn't gone for a walk that day and ended up in the background of his video then I could still be sitting in my room recording FIFA videos and eating Nando's right now.

"You're awful quiet" Vikk said now looking back at me

"I'm just admiring my surroundings" I replied as I watched a cheesy grin form on his face.

I wrapped my arm around him as we walked and he clutched onto it as I did so. I felt his warmth through his jacket. It was freezing outside but we both had so many layers on that we didn't feel it.

"Vikk?"

"Yes Simon?"

"I've been thinking, about us. I've never loved anyone as much as I do you. Within days of meeting you I couldn't stop thinking about you"

"I was the same Si, I couldn't get you off my mind"

I smiled at him and finally got to what I was building up to

"I want people to know how much I love you Vikk, if you're ready, I want to tell them"

We stopped in the middle of the street, staring into each other's eyes. Vikk leant up and kissed me. It wasn't a deep kiss but it was a meaningful one. He then pulled me into a hug and whispered in my ear.

"Time for the world to know you're mine"

I practically squealed in his ear. Who would've thought such a high pitch noise could come out of such a lanky being?

Our hands intertwine and we continue our walk. We're heading to a new hotel. I told Vikk it was just your average 4* hotel, I picked it purely because it had a cafe inside. But he was in for a surprise.

When we arrive the building is huge, god knows how many floors it must have.

"This looks rather fancy for a 4* hotel" Vikk says looking bewildered

"That's because it's not Vikky"

We walk into the main reception. It has pure marble flooring with a polished wood bar over to the side. We were greeted by a woman in extremely formal clothing.

"Hello there, have you booked in or are you here to book for a later date?" She asked, her smile never faltering

"We've made a reservation for the penthouse. It should be under Minter" I replied, I felt Vikk staring at me and I tried not to laugh. However the laughing sensation disappeared once I noticed the receptionist's smile slightly lower

"You are aware that due to the shape of the building we were only able to fit one bedroom in the penthouse?" She asked

"I am, that is perfectly fine"

"Oh, well if you want to head over to Lucas over there he will take you to your room and supply you with a set of keys"

I thanked her and we began to walk towards the man earlier named Lucas

"The sofa does fold out into another bed by the way" she called as we walked away

I knew why she was saying it but I decided not to make a big deal out of it

"Cool" I shouted back, not bothering to face her

After a quick tour we were taken to our room. It was beautiful. There were crystal chandeliers in almost every room, the bed looked as if it could fit 10 people in it let alone 2. The windows gave us an amazing view over the entirety of the town we were in and we had a balcony as if looking out the window wasn't good enough.

"Here are the keys to your room and the keys to your private pool" Lucas said before heading back towards the lobby

"We have a private pool?" Vikk asked still awed by the hotel

"Yep, so skinny dipping is on the cards" I said with a wink before kissing him.

Anyway thank you for reading a story that was thought dead last year, I intend on finishing it for all of you guys, I still remember the ending I had planned so that's all good, it's just getting there that is the hard part.

By the way heckinggoodfries I haven't forgotten the wroetofreezy request, I'll start working on it as soon as I feel I can juggle multiple stories. Or maybe when this one is finished idk but you will get it I promise you.
