Daisy's P.O.V.

"AHHH!" Jack screamed at the top of his lungs. We were currently all, still, on top of the hill. We just sat down and talked. Jack was running around like a madman.

"What's wrong bro?" Wyatt asked him.

"BEE!" Jack screamed. I saw the bee chase him for a while and then fly off.

"Not this again," Chosen said.

"I have told you many times. I am very allergic to bees. I swell up like a balloon." Jack said in a serious tone.

I just laughed at the fact that he screamed like a little girl. "What are you laughing at?" Jack asked me.

"You sounded like a girl." I giggled. Everyone shook their heads in agreement.

"No! I scream like a man!" Jack defended.

"Yeah, a man that doesn't have any balls yet," Finn remarked. We all laughed and agreed.

Suddenly, all I saw was a red blob and the red everywhere on Jack.

There was a group of boys at the bottom of the hill laughing their asses off.

"Did someone finally start their period?" One of the boys cheered.

I looked at Jack and saw at his feet a water balloon that was obviously full of red dye.

It didn't take long for a crowd to form and start laughing at him.

I grabbed my black sweatshirt that I had lying on the grass and put it around him. I tried to clean up some of the red dye.

"Aww. Does Jackie have a girlfriend?" The same boy who threw the balloon mocked. I flipped him off before continuing to help him.

"Whoa. Fiesty one. And she is really hot. I'm sure she would rather be hanging out with us than these losers. Right?" He asked me.

"I'd rather hang out with them than you assholes." I spat. The crowd went wild, Oohs coming from everyone. I just rolled my eyes at them.

Soon all the boys, except Jaeden, came and crowded around Jack trying to help clean him up.

"Thanks guys." Jack sadly said. My heart physically hurt. He looked sadly at the ground, face showing defeat. I'm guessing this isn't the first time these boys have picked on them.

"Now c'mon baby mama. This is your last chance?" The same boys said walking up to me really close and grabbing my ass. My stomach clenched at the sudden touch and I squeezed my eyes shut.

Not even a second later the boy was on the ground, blood pouring out of his nose. I turned to see Jaeden there, looking pissed, and he jumped on the boy and started punching. The boy's friends finally came in and kicked Jaeden in the stomach.

"Jaeden!" I yelled, rushing to his aid. He rolled on side, grabbing his stomach. His friends laughed and grabbed the one bloody friend and helped him to, I'm assuming, the nurse's office.

I looked at Jaeden. His eyes were winced closed, obviously in pain. I kneeled beside him and caressed his cheek, not knowing any other way to help him. He smiled a little and mumbled, "Worth it."

"That was a stupid idea. You could have gone with the one punch." I stated, which made him laugh.

"He deserves more than what he got. He is lucky his jackass friends were there, or I would have-" I cut him off.

"Thank you, Jaeden. Nobody has defended me like that."

He looked at me and said, "Anything for my angel."

I could feel my cheek heat up.

"Hey, you alright?" Finn asked. Jaeden nodded his head.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Jaeden answered.

"You sure or are you just trying to act tough for Daisy," Finn remarked with a smirk on his face.

"You know me too well," Jaeden stated. I laughed. Yeah. I can tell I already love these guys.

My first day of school at my new high school turned out to be a success. I made a bunch of friends and probably a new boyfriend.

I was walking home with Chosen before he dropped me off at my house. He only lives 3 houses down from mine, so that's convenient.

Nobody was home so I just walked to my room. I had a sheet of paper for homework. It was in speech and drama. I have that class with Jaeden. Thank god. But anyways on that sheet of paper, I had to fill out questions for what I thought of myself. Weird but I was gonna go with it.

You are really stupid. That little voice in the back of my head said.

Why? I questioned it. I know. I seem crazy talking to a voice in my head. One of the many things that make me question my sanity.

To think he actually loves you.

Why wouldn't he?

He doesn't know you well enough too.

Right. When he does he won't like me. Thanks.

Anytime.

This little voice may seem like a jerk but he is only trying to make sure I don't get hurt by a sense of false hope. Oh, and who's little voice is that? It's none other than Harry Styles, my idol. Harry comes in handy when I need to calm down. Especially when my anxiety kicks in. He is the only thing to get me to calm down.

"Daisy!" I heard my mother call from downstairs.

"Hi, mom!" I called, going down the hall to the living room where my mother was. "How was your first day at your new job?" I asked.

"It was new. I'm not used to a job. Working at all except for cleaning." She sighed.

"I'm sorry." I apologized. This was my fault.

"It's not your fault mija. It's your fathers. He is to blame, not you. I should be sorry. I love you so much mija." My mother said, calling me my favorite nickname. It's Mexican.

"I love you too." I gave her a big meaningful hug.
