Angel Williams

Well...this is quite the predicament I found myself in. Whoever said going ice skating on a date was a good idea? This is terrible. I'm at the very center of the ring wobbling with unsteady legs while people skate around me, some casting me curious looks while others just blatantly ignoring the hell out of my very very very awkward position. Darn it. Where in the world is North?

My arms came flying on both sides as I found myself once again on the verge on falling on my butt. I tried to steady myself at once, my body going rigid with every jerky movement. Suddenly I heard my phone beep and carefully, I took it out of my pocket and read the message.

North: Where the hell are you?

I frowned.

I could ask you the same thing! |___| \(*A*\)

I yelped as I almost dropped my phone when someone bumped against my shoulder. I heard them throw me a quick apology but I was too busy trying to regain my balance.

Not less than 5 seconds had passed when he replied.

North: What's that?

Me: What's what?

North: That thing you sent after your sentence.

Me: What? The little table flip?

North: That was a table flip? That doesn't make any sense.

Me: You don't make sense <( *n* )>

North: Stop doing that.

Me: I'll do whatever I want. ~(*w*~)

North: 5reg45t

Me: What was that?

North: A face palm.

Me: What!? That is not a face palm. Idiot. <( -m-\)

North: I don't care. Where are you.

I groaned.

Me: Where else!? I'm still on the ice. Trying very hard not to fall on my butt! \(*A*)/

I sighed, pressing send. A moment later, my phone, instead of just the regular beep I've been hearing, rang. "No---"

"Are you kidding me? Why are you still there!?"

I frowned. "Why else!? You're the one who suggested this!"

"No, I mean, ARGH. You said you were going to the benches to rest."

"Well, I'm back from it now. Where are you!?"

A string of Spanish curses left his mouth as he curtly replied, "I've been looking for you by the benches."

"Well, I've been looking for you here in the ring."

"This wouldn't have happened if you just stopped being so stubborn and let me come with you to the benches."

I huffed. "You've been showing off! I didn't want your help."

I heard bustling on the other end. "Dammit! Why are there so many fucking people?"

"Beats me. Can you please just get here, I--" Someone crashed into me and sent my phone spiraling out of my hand and onto the ice where it was quickly lost in the sea of skates. I fell on my ass gracelessly. "I am so terribly sorry!" the person cried.

It was a guy, a tad shorter than North. He offered a hand and I gratefully took it. "Thanks."

"Sure, I'm really sorry. Are you okay? I kind of crashed into you real hard."
