“Okay. So here’s what we’re going to do.” I started as I flipped my hair back “Do not complain or else I’m going to make you eat August’s damp boxer sho---“

“Hey!  What the fu---?“

“---North will call our boat back to the city. I know. Stop pouting Angel, we all didn’t get a good swim. And then Jas will arrange our flight back to NY, tell them it’s urgent okay? And---Adrian? What are you doing?” I raised my brow at Adrian who was grinning goofily before Lizzie’s face.

Lizzie was frozen with her fist raised and her face showing an “Amazon-girl-expression.” You know, the kind those girls show whenever they see a man stripping before them.  We have no idea how Lizzie became instantly paralyzed, but one thing was for sure, the ring was glowing, and magic was involved.

“I’m giving this girl my sweetest revenge.” Adrian said cockily as he started to kiss Lizzie’s forehead, her nose and then her cheeks. He paused before her lips, savoring the moment.

“How do you want the K word babe? Italian? American?  Greek? Or maybe…French?” He grinned as he leaned in closer. I put a hand on my hips and sighed,

“Adrian, you perverted, maniac. Get your stupid ass away from our friend.” I said warningly, although my lips were twitching.

“Yeah, who knows? Maybe Lizzie can still hear and see us in that state. You don’t wanna die, do you?” Angel smiled as she ventured the possibility that Lizzie can still be conscious under that paralyzed demeanor.

“And hey, remember you’re still injured with that nose?” Claire pointed out “Who knows? Maybe your little friend down there will be next. Broken. Unresponsive. UNPRODUCTIVE…..ew…did I just say that?”

Claire scrunched her face as she looked away from where she was formerly pointing at. Angel and I laughed while Jas narrowed his eyes on her.

“Are you checking him out?” Jas said as he pointed at Adrian with a deadly expression. Claire rolled her eyes and started to say something when Jas pulled her somewhere out of earshot and they started arguing.

“Are they going out? They seem like a couple already.” I asked a little too loudly. They both shouted “NO” in my face and then fought each other again.

“Okay. Seems like it.” I turned to August who was checking out the wines in the bar. Since we can’t find any other place close to bring Lizzie, we went to the bar and thankfully, there’s no one in there except a blonde guy who was sprawled in the far corner, legs and arms outstretched as he slept. He’s probably drunk.

“August, if you’re considering to kill yourself by drinking another---“

“I’m not going to drink, MOM. I’m just looking at the contents.” He said as he put the bottle down and raised both of his hands. I rolled my eyes and turned to Adrian, whose hands were moving in some places….and that place involves Lizzie’s body. I swatted his hands away making it hit his face hard.

“Dick. Move.” He said in a tone much used by Damon Salvatore of the Vampire Diaries. I grinned at him and gave the girls a look, making them remember how Lizzie admired Damon.

“Dick as your face.” I snapped at him. When he was about to yell at me, Jas interrupted him by announcing he wanted to go diving over the cliffs.
