"I need to go back out there! I yelled
"Are you insane you'll get killed!" The demon said back.
"I needed to save her!"
"Who are you talking about?"
"Star, she's my best friend."
"If she's out there by her self she's probably already gone."
"No, it can't be...I know she's alive!" I just know Star is alive this person is wrong."
"Well even if she is alive you're going to have a hard time finding her. Everyone is in hiding. Unless you feel like playing an extreme game of hiding and go seek, then you'll have no luck."
"What should I do then?" I can't just sit and do nothing.
"Who is this girl again?"
"Star...Star Butterfly, princess of Mewni."
"Wait does she have long blond hair and wears little red horns on her head?" The demon tried to reclaim.
"Yeah, that's her!"
"She's been living with Tom the past few weeks."
"Thank godness, Tom would never let anything happen to her." A wave of relief went over me.
"Are you sure about that?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well if we're talking about the same Star, she fell into a huge hole the other day when they went for a walk. Don't worry she survived just a few bruises and maybe a mild concussion."
How could Tom ever let Star do such a thing. Sure it might have been an accident, but where were they walking for there to be such a big hole? Maybe Tom isn't as protective of her as I thought.
"Could you take me to her?" I asked
"And risk my life?! I don't think so."
"Please, this girl; means everything to me! Don't you have someone in your life you would give everything up for them?"
"I used to....but then I realized that you come first. Even if it means saving yourself before others. Other people can turn on you and change, but you can't turn on yourself. You are the only person you can trust." The demon said this with sadness.
"Please! I will give you a reward! Money, how much do you want?"
"500 gold peices."
" I don't really know what those are, but let's just say about $5,000."
"You're willing to give up that for her? You must really like this girl."
"I do." I really do love Star and will do anything for her.
"Okay, let's get ready to go."
