What's Wrong With Me

Star: Silence

I woke up on the couch to find myself leaning against Tom, who was asleep. The T.V. was the only light in the room. It was full of static with those white and black dots that scrambled across the screen. I didn't know what time it was for sure but I knew it was late. Just by looking outside the sky was pitch black and everything outside was silent. The only thing I could hear is the static sound of the T.V. I didn't want to wake Tom up so I tried to be as quiet as possible. I would've just went back to sleep but I've been sleeping all day and wasn't tired. I looked down at Tom, he's kind of cute when he's sleeping. Then I looked up at the T.V. I should probably shut it off since I'm not going to use it. I looked around for the remote for about five minutes without finding it. Then I saw it was still in Tom's hand. I need the remote to turn off the T.V. so I'm going to have to be careful not to wake him up.

I quietly sat down next to Tom and then slowly reached out my hand to grab it. When I grabbed his hand a small blush appeared on my face. I looked back up at Tom's face. Besides all of his anger problems and stuff, he's actually a really nice guy. He's sweet, kind, funny, and caring. The blush on my face grew brighter. I grabbed to remote and gently tried to pull it out of his hands. Tom's head shifted as he started mumbling random words. "Shhh, just go back to sleep." I whispered. A small smirk appeared on his face as he went back to sleep. I smiled at him as I finally go the remote from his hand. "Sweet dreams." I whispered to him and a brush some of his hair behind his ear.

I stood up and the pointed the remote at the T.V. I clicked the red circle button at the top and the screen clicked off. The room was completely dark now, I couldn't see anything. But the room wasn't silent, I could hear a something. It wasn't coming from Tom. The voice sounded as a lady was humming a song.
