"We have to follow it!" I yelled back to Damien.

"Are you crazy! We should go in the opposite direction."

" It's going straight to Tom's house."

"It's just going in that direction, you don't really know if it's going to Tom's...Marco?"

I didn't even care about what he had to say, I already started running after it "Marco wait!" Damien screamed from behind. I didn't want to stop or even spend the time to look back and see if he was following. I've waited too long to see Star and this thing could be going after her. I didn't even know where Tom's house was I just chased after the cloud. I ran so fast that my lungs felt like they were going to bust and my legs tensed up as if someone was squeezing them. I ran and ran and ran, going as fast as I could. But it wasn't enough, the cloud was to fast and soon I lost sight of it. I still ran even though my throat was on fire. That's when I lost my footing and fell face first onto the gravel road. I couldn't get up I was so sore and out of breath, I couldn't move. Not to mention the blood that was now dripping from my forehead from the gash that I got from hitting the ground. I have to get up Star could be in danger, but I couldn't find any energy to do it. I heard footsteps come up behind me. It took everything left in me to roll over and see who it was, it was Damien. I can't believe he actually flowed me. How did he run that fast wearing that cloak and how is he not dying of heat. "We have to clean you up." He said as he squatted down next to me.

"I'm fine, we have to go get Star."

"At least let me patch you up, you're losing a lot of blood."

I looked down and saw that I wasn't just bleeding from my head, but my whole legs were scrapped up. My pants were torn to shreds as if something just chewed them off. "Fine."

Damien finished with the last wrap around my legs. "Let's go find Star." I said trying to stand up.

"You already did." Damien said as he pointed at a house nearby. I got up as quickly as I could and limped over to the house. I was about to knock on the door when I saw something through the window. It was Star, she had fallen asleep on Tom's shoulder and Tom was asleep next to her. She looked so peaceful and happy. I didn't want to ruin that. I want the best for Star, even if that means that I have to leave her forever.
