Isabel

"Go away, please"

"Leave me alone" I can faintly hear my voice as my sight gets darker.

"Shhh you are safe now, I am here," a beautiful husky male voice says but my eyes are too heavy to open. My arms and legs are paralyzed I can't lift them, I can't even move.

"You're back? I love you... Don't leave me ever again... Hug me please, I will rest my eyes for a while, don't leave me alone, he will come back for me"

"Don't worry princess, I am here with you. No one will ever hurt you again... You're safe in my arms" were the last words I could hear before drifting off to a numb, uncomfortable sleep.

Liam

Ken called me asking for help, something about a friend of his losing her friend and she was worried sick about her.

I hesitated but Ken has always been there for me and it's one of the few times he asked for my help. I called some of the boys who help me at work, we met with Ken and his friend in an apartment to brainstorm and allocate each their responsibility.

Jess, Ken's friend, showed us a picture of her friend that we are to look for... as I laid my eyes on the photo I could feel ice cold water washing all over me, my heart skipped a beat and my throat choked on a thorny lump.

It was her...

My infatuation from the bar...

My muse...

My inspiration... from that diner...

The girl that admonished me cruelly at the bar... The girl behind Black Enterprise... It was her...

And she was missing...

I can't even begin to explain to myself the types of emotions that were taking over me.

All I knew at that moment is that I will find this girl even if it is the last thing I would do... but there is one last thing I have to do before.

As I sunk deeper into my thoughts, I could feel hands pushing back and forth forcing me to return to reality.

"What did you tell me her full name was?" I asked her friend.

"Isabel Garcia" she replied.

"Alright, don't worry I will find her... take my number from Ken and call me if you have any update. Ken stay with her, the boys and I will handle this. Don't worry bro." I assured them both as I got out of the apartment.

I roamed the streets for hours like a lost puppy; neither the boys nor I were getting a lead on what could have happened to Isabel, until I parked the car next to a shop to buy myself water and anything with caffeine to keep me going through the night.

I stepped out of the car, closed the door behind me and heard the car lock as I moved further from it. After the click of the lock, a sore silent took over the alley where I was and I could unclearly hear the voice of a bothered girl or a girl in trouble. I stood for a fraction of a second and decided to go check on that girl Isabel might be fine but this girl most probably is not.

I hurried in the direction of the voice, until I could locate that the girl is trying to defend herself against an ugly, dirty man trying to push himself on her. She was holding a cup with clear water inside and she looked so weak, her eyes show that she's been crying for hours. Her hands and legs were failing her whenever she tried to move away from him or push him away from her.
