Chapter 4: I'm planning on teaching my dog Spanish

"She fakes a smile and says she's okay, but in reality she barely makes it through the day."

Previously:

Without even thinking twice I offered him to stay to which he chuckled but I think he didn't realize I wasn't kidding.

"You don't need to bother yourself with me princess and I didn't say that so you would ask me to stay here." He said quietly.

"Maybe. But I want to. At least I'm offering you to stay in my house after I've gotten to know you, you did that when you didn't even know my name."

He chuckled again, I guess remembering the memory of two weeks ago. "I didn't need to know anything about you to know that you needed help in that moment."

"Well, either way, you're welcomed here and you're totally staying tonight. If not because you don't want to go home stay because it's too late go home now." I said.

"Well, well, well. Ms. Summers if I didn't know better I'd say you want me here tonight to fulfill your pleasures." He said with a smirk. I laughed and hit his arm. "Although I must say I don't mind sharing a bed with you princess."

"Oh no. You are going to take the best sleeping place in the house... The floor." I said standing up and taking two blankets from the closet.

"And here I was thinking you would treat me any less than a king." We both chuckled at his words.

Now:

I woke up in the morning from the smell of bacon. I glanced on the floor to see that Noah was missing so I guessed that he was downstairs with Grams. Grams. Shit. Shit. Shit. I didn't tell her about Noah spending the night over. She's gonna kill me. People better start writing their eulogies. I want tulips on my grave.

I got out of bed and started walking slowly downstairs. I silently walked to the kitchen door where I was frozen in my tracks.

There stood a half-naked Greek God with his back turned to me. I leaned against the doorframe and just kept staring at his back. Nobody judge. He was there with no shirt and I'm not blind. If he has a problem with that then why doesn't he put on his shirt? That would make everything better.

"Done checking me out princess?" His voice broke my train of thoughts but I noticed that he hadn't turn his head to look at me.

"Nope, not yet. Could you take a slow spin so I can fully check you out?" I asked trying to look confident although if you put bread on my cheeks right now it would turn to toast.

To my amusement he spun around with opened arms and a smirk on his face. "Happy?"

I took out my phone and took a picture of him grinning. "Now I am."

He crossed his arms over his chest and was looking at me as if he was trying to unfold all the layers that surrounded me.

"I didn't expect that answer from you princess."

"What can I say? I'm full of surprises." I said coping his moves.

"You sure are." He slightly shook his head and then turned around.
