"Beautiful girl you were meant to do hard things so believe in yourself."
Chapter 12: I can read you better than those ads on billboards.
Previously:
I sighed. "You guys will meet him soon. He's coming to meet me." The moment I said that, I regretted opening my mouth on the first place.
Natasha, Miley and even Winter squealed. "I can't wait." The three of them said in unison.
I glanced at Noah and saw his jaw clenched. It's for the best.
"Noah." I heard a loud voice say and turned around to see an auburn-haired, brown-ish-eyed girl coming to our table.
"Oh for fuck's sake, can't we have a single day off?" Nathan mumbled.
"How've you been baby?" She asked sitting on Noah's lap.
My eyes widened as I saw them kiss. Those lips had been on mine yesterday. Our kiss was a lie.
I abruptly stood up and left. At least I knew that what I did was the right thing. He had been with someone else and had kissed me.
I called one of the only people that could help me right now.
"Well look who decided to call. Hey Levi, Riley's on the phone." I heard Luke say.
"Riley? Damn, and here I was thinking you had died." Levi said and I gave a soft chuckle.
"Hey, that's not the laugh I like to hear from you. Who made you sad? I'll come over there and personally kick their ass." Luke threatened.
"I actually need your help guys. One of you... needs to come here and... pretendtobemyboyfriend." I said the last part so fast I didn't even understand myself.
"Riley, sweetheart, you need to separate your words in order for us to understand you." Levi chuckled.
"One of you has to come here and pretend to be my boyfriend." I said with a sigh and closed my eyes.
"Are you really that desperate Ry?" Levi chuckled.
"It's a long story."
"We'll see what we can do. Don't miss us to much." Luke said.
"Thank you, you guys." I said.
"Don't mention it." Levi said.
And with that the line went dead.
Now:
"Levi! Luke!" I exclaimed as soon as I saw the twins get out of the car.
They were my best friends back in my old town. They would take me racing whenever they could just so I could spend some time away from home. They knew what happened with my father. They were even witnesses once.
"Come here little R." Luke opened his arms and engulfed me in a bear hug.
"Hey! What about me?" Levi whined.
I let go of Luke and turned to Levi who wrapped his arms around my waist and spun me around. I giggled as he laughed while Luke had a bored look on his face.
Luke was always more mature than me and Levi together although Luke and Levi would always be up to no good together.
"How's our favorite girl?" Levi grinned.
"As good as it can get. Dad moved here." I informed them.
"He's inside?" Luke exclaimed.
"No. He's just staying somewhere around here." I answered.
