"Closure happens right after you accept that letting go and moving on is more important than what happened."
Chapter 14: Locking you and me in a room until you couldn't take it anymore and forgave me.
Previously:
"I'm sorry princess." And with that I kissed her.
She was shocked at first while my body was exploding with feelings but soon she relaxed and she kissed me back. It was my turn to be shocked.
We were seriously kissing. Like for real. I could feel her lips on mine and I could feel my heart beating in my ear. I circled my arms around her waist and she tightened her arms around my neck.
I still decided that it wasn't enough. I needed more. I bit her bottom lip hoping she would allow me but she refused. I smirked against her lips and moved my hand lower and squeezed her butt making her gasp, a moment I took advantage of by snaking my tongue on her mouth. I couldn't have enough. She tasted like strawberries and our tongues fought each other for dominance.
We were fucking interrupted by something cold being thrown over our heads. We separated and I saw her covered in bright green paint. She started laughing looking at me, no doubt being covered in paint just as much as her, and I joined her. God, her laugh is a bless.
Only a few seconds later I noticed two guys laughing along with us while one of them had her eyes on Riley. Dream on motherfucker.
I walked close to her and snaked an arm around her waist, glaring his way. He raised his hands in surrender and then left chuckling with his friend.
"We should go princess." She nodded not looking at me. Please tell me I didn't scare her off again.
Now:
In case you don't know we're back to Riley's POV
We were in Noah's car going... I actually had no idea where we were going. We both hadn't said a word. I don't know the reason behind his silence but I was busy hating myself to talk.
I said I was going to forget about him. I said I would let go of him and that I would handle my heart and yet I kissed him. I'm weak. I'm stupid. I'm... very happy I did that mistake.
I felt the car stop and I turned to look at Noah only to find him getting out of it. I got out too and went by his side. I tried to talk but he beat me to it.
"I'm sorry princess but I couldn't help myself. I tried, Riley, I swear I tried but everything about you was inviting me in and I couldn't help-"
I cut him off by locking my lips with his. Don't ask. I have no idea what I was doing.
I didn't kiss him for too long but I still felt like I had no oxygen in my lungs when I let go of him.
"You're not mad." Noah said breathless. Not trusting my voice I shook my head. He cupped my face and rested his forehead on mine.
"Thank God. Plan B would be a little hard to follow through." He said with a smile on his lips.
"Plan B?" I asked amused.
"Plan B to stop you from being mad at me. Plan A was the paint party." He explained.
"What was plan B?" I asked curiously.
He bit his lip. "Locking you and me in a room until you couldn't take it anymore and forgave me."
I burst out laughing, untangling myself from his arms and doubling over. He looked at me like I was crazy, I probably was anyway.
