italic means story content.

bold means note.

normal means stressing words.

faint voices were heard disturbing the peace i was at. and that, i didn't like it one bit.

there was a part of me that wanted to scream at them to shut up. but i knew that if i did, it would be noisy from all the questions they will be throwing at my face.

i knew that i was at the hospital. the smell that usually engulfed hospitals was evident.

i couldn't take the whispers anymore, it's either you speak loud and clear or just shut it. so, i decided to open my eyes.

light hit my eyes almost blinding me, so i squinted my eyes back shut. i slowly opened them so the impact of the light rays would not harm my eyes any worse.

and just like i thought, i was at the hospital.

the people whispering being no other than my parents and a woman in her forties, wearing a white coat.

i sat straight and coughed by mistake, being noticed was far from what i want. but i can't really blame my throat for being dry.

three pairs of eyes were driffted to where i laid. did i ever tell you how much i hated attention? yeah, i really did.

the lady smiled at me, "hey, i'm doctor lee. would you like me to get you water?"

i nodded at her and gave her a faint smile, not trusting my voice to say any words. doctor lee left the room so that me and my parents were the only one left.

no one said a word. seriously, if they were going to keep it shut they should've done it while i'm asleep.

they didn't even spare me a glance. oh now they're dissappointed at me? last time i checked, they didn't give the tiniest shit.

the door suddenly opened, which made all of our gazes be adverted to that.

instear of doctor lee with a cup of water, a young man entered but holding a glass of water of which i guess was for me.

he has brown hair and brown eyes. he was so handsome that if i was the flirty type of a girl or even  a tad bit beautiful, i would've flirted with him. but to his may, i'm not that type.

he handed me the glass of water and i thanked him in a whisper that i wasn't too sure if he even heard me at first but when he sent me a dashing smile, i knew that he did.

he then turned to my parents and exchanged a couple of words with them. i wasn't sure what they were saying but i didn't care either.

seconds later, both my parents nodded their heads and headed to the door. but before they can get out of my room, my mother sent me a look and then out of the door she went. my father tailing behind her.

the mesmerizing young man took long strides to the right side of the room, where the window was, and opened the curtains. letting the moon light enter the room although it was pretty lit with all the lamps.

in one swift move, the curtains were drawn to the right side of the window. he collected the curtain in his grip and tied it by the ribbon on the wall. he made it into a perfect bow.

on the shelf under the window was an empty water glass, three flowers of daffodils filling it. the young man eyed the empty glass for a second and then he took out the flowers from them and gently placed them on the shelf.

he muttered what seemed like "i don't even see why they put this" and shook his head. he turned around and opened another wooden door of which i guessed was the bathroom. the sound of water flowing down the faucet echoed the whole room all the way from the bathroom and that is when i realized that i still hadn't drank the water he gave me.

i wrapped my fingers tightly around the transparent, cold solid and brought it to my dry lips. i lifted the cup slightly so the water would easily slide down my throat.

after drinking about half of it, placed it on the bed side table trying to make as less noise as possible.

the sound of water from the bathroom came to a stop and i enjoyed the silence it brought very much.

the door flung open and the young man appeared with the now full glass. he went to where the window was and slowly placed it. he then put the  yellow flowers in the water making it breathe the water.

after doing the job, he turned around and cought me staring. he didn't seem bother and instead, he moved forward so he is standing right next to the bed. i was now looking up at him and he was staring down at me.

he reached out for a loose strand of blonde hair and gently placed it behind my ear. the small touch giving me a great feeling.

"whatever it is, it's not worth it" he whispered.

and before i can even ask what he meant, he was near the door. he was almost out but i called for him to wait making him stop.

"yes?" he asked, turning around to meet my gaze.

"what's your name?" i brought myself to ask.

he gave me faint smile. "Isaac"

i nodded at him, "i'm Abigail"

he gave me a huge grin that sure made lots of girls fall to their knees, "I know" he said and out of the door he went.
