I just got out of the doctor's office because I had to get a flu shot. I felt dizzy and wanted to barf. I held it in, and my mom drove me back home. I sat on the couch and my mom told me that she was going to go grab me some coffee and donuts. She left me home alone.
I remember that someone told me that when you get shots, you might see things, hear things etc, etc. Haha. Yeah right....right? Wrong. I sat down and watched Tv.
I was half asleep when I heard the front door open. Sleepily, I called over "Hey mom!" No reply. I heard shuffling around the house until a tall black man appeared in front of my Tv, holding a gun and many knifes.
I looked up at him and thought I hallucinating. I got up and felt as if I was drunk. He watched me hobble to my dog's cage. Milo was dead. My cat Sammy was dead. I looked at him and he raised his gun, aiming at my head. He fired.
I blinked open my eyes and my mom walked in. "Home!!!! Sweetie, why was the door wide ope- OH MY GOD!" She ran to Mill's unmoving corpse. Then she mourned for Sammy. I wobbled around the room and noticed I had a knife in my hand, covered in the pets blood. "S-sorry mummy" I said. "I'm tired."
She glared at me. Then she started right at my head. Blood was dripping from my forehead. I collapsed to the ground and just as I hit the floor, I found myself in the doctor's office about to get my flu shot. "Dont worry, Amelia" said my mom in a comforting voice. "Flu shots aren't that bad. Though you might hallucinate some weird shit..."
