Love, Tsukiyomi & the Author
Tsukiyomi's P.O.V
Heaving out a long sigh of frustration, I gave the male beside me a sideward glance as the both of us walked down the pathway down the street.
'I can't believe him! How can he...??' I screamed internally in my head.
Instead of returning back the same look I was giving him, he instead turned his head and gave me a close-eyed smile, making an irk mark appear on my head. Huffing in irritation, I quickened my pace and trudged down the streets, hoping to get away from him.
However, being the persistent person he is, he too quickened his pace and matched mine in a span of a few seconds. I even started running at one point and turned a few corners to get myself out of his sight, but he was able to keep up with me! No matter how many times I tried shaking him off, he kept following me, and it pissed me to no bounds. It was like he had kept a tracker on me, keeping tabs on my location behind my back.
I would never know if he actually did that, but he isn't that kind of person to do that.
'I think.' I thought in my head as I stopped dead in my tracks. Following my actions, he stopped in front of me as he turned his head to look behind him, his brown orbs staring back at me with a confused look.
"Something wrong?" He asked with curiosity lacing his voice.
"You... Why..."
"?"
"Why do you keep following me??" I groaned out as I rolled my eyes in annoyance, my glare still being directed towards the male in front of me.
He turned his body fully before taking a step closer to me. "No reason." Cocking his head to one side, he shoved his hands into his pockets before giving me a mischievous smile.
"That smile says that you're not just following me without any reason." I stated bluntly, crossing both of my arms on my chest, my glare hardening slightly as my irritation grew. "There should be a reason why you're following me, Dazai."
"Ma ma~ I just want to see if all goes well~" He hummed as he pulled out his hands out from his coats pockets and held them up like he was surrendering.
With my left eye twitching once in a while, I let out a huff of annoyance, capturing the eyes of onlookers who resumed back to their own businesses after seeing how I was annoyed.
"But that doesn't mean I said you can tag along." I scowled at him. "You told me to meet them and I'm planning to now. But you have been following me since I left the dorm room. Care to explain why you're tagging along into a business you have nothing to say in?"
"So mean Tsuki-chan! I made you come to the sense that you need to see them and this is the kindness you return?" With mock hurt plastered on his face, Dazai placed a hand on his chest as he cried out in fake grief.
"But I don't even want to see them in the first place..." I grumbled as I then continue on down the street, ignoring Dazai's calls of my name from behind. When he fell into step with me to my left, I didn't give him my attention as I was drowned in my own thoughts.
As much as I want to thank him for making me realise that keeping myself cooped up in the past is bad and that I should at least hear my family out, I want to do this alone. I'm their child and the victim of being abandoned by them. So it was my own responsibility to listen to them if I were to give them a chance.
