A/N: Hi :)
Tsukiyomi's P.O.V
I left the infirmary when I had grasped back my normal conscience. In addition to getting my mind back, I used the time I stayed in the infirmary to wait for the time limit of being mute go out. It was hard, trying to transverse something across to him, but because I was much less mute for a period of five minutes, I couldn't do anything other than giving hand signals or waving my hands like someone who was desperately wanting someone to understand him or her.
Even if I wanted to stay inside more, he would push me out because he wanted to clean up the room, saying that he doesn't want a certain yellow-headed mother and a crazy doctor chasing him all the way to his death. He would rather die by suicide than die by their hands.
On the other hand.
It was embarrassing that I hugged him back, much less cried in his arms moments ago. It was even more embarrassing when he... he...
Thinking back on his actions, I couldn't help but lift a hand and touched my forehead. The exact place where he had placed a kiss on. Warmth spread around my cheeks before my hand slipped from my forehead and I planted my face on my table, the resounding smack of my head hitting the table hard echoed in the workplace room.
"Have you finally gone mad, Akira?" The vicious tone from a familiar yellow head sounded out from in front of me.
"Then am I finally driving you mad hmn?" I moved my head upright so that my chin still touched the table. My eyes stared back hard at the yellow head that was typing away at his laptop, "Aho-Kunikida-san?"
"A-Ah-Aho.... You say...?!" A tick mark appeared on his forehead.
I gave him a wide grin.
Knowing that I was just playing with him, he huffed out in vexation, rolling his eyes dramatically as an added effect.
Just then, the telephone on his table rang. Kunikida typed a few more words on his laptop before reaching out to pick up the handset, placing the receiver to his left ear all while his right continues typing on his laptop, albeit slower than before.
"Hai?" Kunikida spoke into the transmitter. His eyes widened a small fraction a second later. "Shacho?" That told me it was the President. It was unexpected for us to be receiving a call from him at this timing when he left the Agency a few hours ago.
I don't know what they are talking about, but from the look on his face, it seemed to be serious. The ever-firm frown on his face was much more obvious than usual. I sat there, feeling more anxious from the way his frown was growing to be much more prominent.
"... Is that the place that used to be your headquarters before you founded the Agency, Shacho?" Kunikida asked into the phone line. Although his face grew aggregated a few seconds later, as if something had happened on the other side. "Shacho? Shacho, what's the matter?" He asked hastily, "Shacho?" After one more call, he pulled the headset away from his ear and stared at it.
"Something the matter?" I asked with a raised brow.
The sound of footsteps sounded and I lifted my head up from the table to see Atsushi walking into the room from the entrance; carrying a stack of boxes and a few books on top in his hands. "What's wrong?" Atsushi asked after me.
Placing the headset back in its proper place, his glasses reflected the dark orange sundown light that was shining into the room. "The call from the President... Hm... Could it be an enemy attack...?" He said, speaking out his opinion before shrugging his shoulders and continuing his work.
