Tsukiyomi's P.O.V
Once we had pulled the car over in a parking spot in the building, we walked towards the elevator. Pushing the buttons of the elevator for the floor our Agency was on, I pressed the closed button once everyone had came in. The door closed itself and the lift rocked upwards with the five of us in it.
Taking a spare set of keys from the bottom of a plant we have outside the Agency's door, I unlocked the door and asked Naomi and Haruno to wait by the couches before going for the infirmary. Dazai went into the Agency with a brisk in his walk. Atsushi followed behind with a lag, his face pulled into a sad regretful expression.
Haruno had said that she was alright and fine once she got her bearings right. She understood what had happened after I had explained what Q's ability had done to him, so it wasn't Atsushsi's fault that he had attacked her. She had yet to recover completely from the event that had transpired a while ago but she won't hold any anger or feel fearful towards the white-haired male.
Dazai went missing after he grabbed his phone from his table and walked out of the Agency. He had his phone to his ear, so I guessed he was calling someone.
Calling to Haruno and Naomi, I directed them to the infirmary. Holding out my hand and telling them to wait outside for a moment, my hand reached out to the door knob before I pushed and opened the door.
Looking to my right, there sat Kouyou on the infirmary bed she was assigned to from the moment she was brought into this building. Noticing my presence, the Port Mafia executive turned her head. Her eyes turned dark when we made eye contact and I felt myself staring at her with the same darkness in my eyes.
"My." Kouyou started with a sarcastic smile. "What brings you here, Tsukiyomi?
Stepping into the room, I closed the door behind me, not wanting the two female workers outside to hear the both of us. "I work here. Is there a problem about coming in here?" I asked, albeit more harshly than needed.
Kouyou narrowed her eyes on me. "Work here?" She snorted with an eye-roll. "Hearing that from you makes me sick. You were once part of us, and now you're here with that brown-haired boy."
I gave no reply. I made no movements. I only stared back at her with dark eyes.
Kouyou's eyes grew even darker than thought possible. "Are you going to betray the Port Mafia by staying here any longer? Do you want to be deemed a traitor by running away again?"
I couldn't help but clamp my jaws together when she said that. My hands clenched themselves into fists; trembling slightly from how much pressure I'm putting on them.
"I thought you have already deemed me as a traitor." I stated through gritted teeth, my words coming out as a statement rather than a question. My hands then unclenched themselves, staying by my side limply. "I'm thankful for you taking care of me on those occasions. But people change, onee-san. People change according to the situations, according to the environments. Maybe being here would help, that's why I'm here."
Kouyou had her lips drawn into a thin line; her expression was pulled into a frown and her glare hardened. "Don't think we have let you off yet, little girl."
"I know. Mori-san and Chuuya-san came to give me a surprise visit a while back." I stressed on the words, grimacing inwardly when I thought back to the encounter.
"Anyone could have guessed." Kouyou chuckled out in response. I gave her a scowled in return.
Silence ensued between the both of us and we only glared right back at each other.
