Tsukiyomi's P.O.V
The feeling of someone pushing on my left shoulder and another poking my right cheek woke me up from my drowsy sleep. My eyes fluttered open and I was met with brown curious eyes looking right back at me.
'I must of fell asleep while...' Seeing his face tickled a small memory coming back in. I then remembered I was ruffling his hair before I was knocked out cold.
Warmth crept up my face and I immediately reeled backwards and away from him; pulling away from the comfortable leaning position and sitting up straight on the stool.
His left hand was left in the air, in the middle of wanting to poke my cheek again before I pulled away.
"Y-You're awake!" I exclaimed. I winced internally, having noticed that I was speaking much louder than intended.
Dazai wore a smile on his face. "Slept well?" He asked.
"Y-Yeah." I stuttered on my words, making me curse at myself internally. "How long have you been awake?" I asked, noting that I had fallen asleep for thirty minutes.
"About twenty minutes or so." He replied.
'That was ten minutes after I fell asleep!' I screamed in my head.
"W-Why didn't you wake me up earlier then?"
A smile graced his lips again; seemingly brighter than the previous one. "Seeing you sleeping like that was adorable. I couldn't wake you up."
My face exploded into a red-hot mess. 'A-Adorable? Seriously?'
"Wh-What-t are you talking about you dimwit!" I stood up onto my feet abruptly, pushing back the stool, making a screeching sound when it scratched against the floor.
Dazai barked out a short laughter. He stood back up straight on the other side of the bed since he was leaning over the bed to reach for me.
"We don't have time for this you guys! Dazai-san! There's a meeting the President wants to have with both of us!" A voice yelled out anxiously from my left. It was then I realised that Atsushi had been here in the room from the start.
"Ah, almost forgot about that." Dazai did his signature trademark of shoving his left hand into his coat's pocket. "Because you came up with a plan that was straight up crazy and went to the President and proposed it to him yesterday."
Atsushi gasped out in utter surprise by his words. He reeled a step backwards, as if he was caught red-handed for doing something bad. "I-It's for the greater good!"
I reflected back to his proposal from yesterday and thought that it was not in the right mind to suggest pairing with the Port Mafia and making friends. But it was a reasonable solution for this situation. There were no other ideas more suited than this. This then brought me back to the proposal that Mori gave to me days before. And to the conclusion of what I want to do.
"Can I join in on the meeting?" I asked with a thoughtful face.
"Eh?" Atsushi was wearing a confused expression.
"It's regarding about your suggestion." I said. I stopped speaking for a few seconds; wanting to gather my words before saying them out. "I have something I want to tell Shacho."
Atsushi's brows furrowed slightly. The look of confusion slowly morphed into one of hesitance and weariness. "You don't... approve of my suggestion, is it?" His eyes widened as if he realised something before his face fell drastically, visibly showing how much my words affected his mentality and judgement. "I knew it. It's not a good plan after all. It was stupid of me to come up with something like partnering with the Port Mafia—"
