Tsukiyomi's P.O.V

Atsushi dropped down the sky and at the last second, transformed into part tiger and landed on all fours in a distant away from us.

Before I could get his attention to us, he started running into the other side of the street through an alleyway the instant bullets rained down on his side.

"That's the wrong way he's going!" I cursed loudly. Taking a few steps forward, I created a pair of wings on my back. A cough bubbled from within my throat and I hacked them out. Blood dribbled down from the corner of my lips, but I wiped them away without care. My head was throbbing painfully, causing my vision to turn hazy for a few seconds. The blurry figure of Dazai standing in front of me and blocking my way appeared. "Don't overwork yourself, Tsukiyomi!" He yelled at me.

I shook my head to get rid of the poor eyesight. "I have to! If I can do something, I will! And this is one time I have to!", was the only thing I said before taking flight up into the sky. My wings beat hard and fast behind me as I manoeuvre myself in the air and flew over the buildings and onto the other street.

My eyes immediately landed on the white-haired male running away from the barrage of bullets coming from behind him. Creating a hardened glass shield thicker than the original one in my hands, I flew towards him and hurled the object above his head.

The moment the glass took the bullets for Atsushi, I glide my way forward with a hard flap of my wings and grabbed Atsushi from the underside of his shoulders. Pulling him upwards, my arms quickly wrap themselves around his chest, not wanting him to slip from my grasps.

"A-Akira-s-san?!" Atsushi wiggled in my hold, flustered that I suddenly appeared and held him like that.

"Don't move!" I yelled, swerving to the left to avoid a few incoming bullets from the top. I cursed strings of words before taking a quick u-turn to confuse the gunner on top.

The sound of laughter caught my attention and my head immediately snapped down at Atsushi. The moment my eyes landed on a torn doll, I recognised what it was. "That is!"

"Yes it is! We got to get it to—"

"AHH!" Atsushi was cut off halfway when I left out a shriek of pain when one of the bullets grazed my leg—deep enough for me to feel enough pain to slow down. Subconsciously, I willed my wings beat even faster.

"A-Akira-san!?"

"I-I'm alright. We got to get this to Osamu-san!"

With a swift turn to the left, the both of us shot through the alleyway and appeared on the other street, the one Dazai was on. I spotted the brunette trying to get two infected people off his shoulders in the fight.

My lips parted and I screamed his name. On the unluckier side or maybe someone was cursing my life, a bullet caught one side of my wings a second later and the both of us tumbled and rolled on the ground with screams leaving our throats. We slid across the hard and rough road, the friction and stones tearing through our clothes a little.

Ignoring the burning pain on my legs where the bullet had taken off a few skins, I stood onto my feet and planned to grab the doll to pass it to Dazai, but he made it on time and squatted down to pick up the doll. Blue lights of kanji emitted from the doll. I slumped to the ground, knowing that the ordeal was now part over.

"You win, Atsushi-kun." Dazai commented as his eyes flitted to me. They glanced back at Atsushi when said male yelled that it is dangerous here.

"They will shoot you from above!"
