Hey y'all! Happy day to ya! (lol what?!) Anyway, this is a Talex fanfic about Tobin being out for the games against Canada and being jealous of Alex for playing and scoring her 80th goal. Enjoy!
"Tobin. I'm home!" Alex says entering the couple's apartment, just having gotten off a plane from Vancouver.
"In here." Tobin says from the bedroom.
Alex walks in the room smiling, for she hasn't seen her wife in almost a week.
Tobin's sitting on the bed, with the TV remote in her hand.
"Hey." Alex says surprised Tobin didn't greet her with a kiss by the door.
"There's nothing good on." Tobin sighs.
Alex looks at Tobin. "Why are you acting so weird?"
"Weird? I'm not acting weird. Everything's fine." Tobin says to Alex.
"No, everything's not fine. I haven't seen you in a week, and the second I get home I expected to be flooded with kisses and hugs, and now I didn't even get a proper hello." Alex says getting a little frustrated.
Tobin gets up from her spot on the bed and walks over to her wife. "Sorry baby.." Tobin says kissing Alex passionately. ".....how was your week?"
"Good, we won both of our games, but I'm sure you know that." Alex says.
"Yea, I saw the highlights." Tobin says grabbing Alex's hands in hers.
"The highlights? You didn't watch the games?"
"Well, no, parts of the games. You played great though." Tobin smiles, but then it adds when she looks at Alex's reaction.
"Why didn't you watch the games?" Alex says hurt.
"It was just frustrating for me, babe, you understand that right?" Tobin says rubbing the back of Alex's hand with her thumb.
"Yea I guess." Alex says putting her head down.
Tobin grins, not liking seeing Alex hurt.
"Hey.." Tobin says putting her hand up to Alex's chin, lifting it while saying "...that 80th goal was pretty amazing."
Alex smiles, making Tobin smile.
"How's the injury?" Alex says.
"Painful. Just one thing after another. I guess I don't ever get a rest." Tobin laughs.
"I'm sorry Tobs, next year will be better." Alex says moving Tobin's stray hair behind her ear.
"Yea hopefully. I only played 10 games in 2017, wow."
"Well you'll come back better than ever."
"Not better than you, though" Tobin says flirting with Alex.
"What can I say, it's my job to score goals. It's why I'm there." Alex says shrugging her shoulders like it's no big deal.
"You are probably the best forward in the world, and not just in my own eyes."
"And you ARE the best wife in the world, in my eyes." Alex says wrapping her arms around Tobin's neck.
"Uh, no I think you are." Tobin says getting closer to Alex's lips, she was begging for a kiss.
Alex smiles and connects her lips with Tobin's using every inch of passion.
"I'm glad you're home Al." Tobin says when they break.
"Me too." Alex smiles.

Haven't updated in a while, but her is a Talex fic. Just a little fluff, because we're all SUPER sad that Tobin couldn't play in the games against Canada. But, hopefully, she can play alot in 2018!
