(Ooh interesting title right? I guess you'll just have to read to find out what happens!)
The NWSL.... This is one of the prizes of women's soccer. Besides the USWNT , this is where our favorite players get to experiment with their skills. But the only down side is that players have to play against each other.
I know it's hard to believe. Can you imagine midfielder Tobin Heath nutmegging one of the worlds greatest defenders Becky Saurbrunn? Or maybe the great Alex Morgan scoring on Hope Solo? It's a scary thought.
But for couple Tobin Heath and Alex Morgan, this doesn't even affect their relationship. Tobin plays for the Portland Thorns, who are ranked number one. And Alex plays for the Orlando Pride, ranked number six.
The pair just cherishes the time they have together wether it's on or off the field.
Today, Alex arrived at Tobin's apartment in Portland. Tobin was totally surprised and started to tear up when she saw the love of her life.
"Baby I can't believe you came!" Tobin says kissing the forwards cheek.
Alex smiles and says: "I'd do anything for you Tobs."
Then the couple chills. And I think you know what I'm talking about. 😏😏😏
After the couples fun "adventure," they start to make dinner.
"Hey Tobs. Can I take a shower?" Alex says getting up from her chair.
"Of course baby. Bathroom's down the hall and to the right."
"Thanks babe." Alex says pecking her girlfriends lips.
Tobin gets the food cooking and sits down to watch some ESPN. She turns on the tv and is just in time for the NWSL report.
"Hello everyone I'm Jack Lindsay(random name) and welcome to ESPN Live. Today we are talking about NWSL rankings and predictions. With us we have retired player Heather Mitts. (I'm sorry, I had to!)......"
(Ok so know Heather will be in bold)
"....how are you doing today?"
"I'm feeling great."
"Good are you exciting for the season so far? I mean it's been crazy. With ya know, Alex Morgan being traded to the Pride and everything. But what's your feeling on that."
"Um well I think in the beginning, it had everyone a little shaken up. Just because with the Thorns winning the championship in the past few years, everyone thought that Portland was gonna crash and burn.
"Well obviously not. They're ranked number one!"
"Yes they definitely showed fans that they could hold their own. Um, but it was too bad because I mean the chemistry on that team was incredible! Tobin and Alex proudly earned their name "Portland's Dynamic Duo."
"Yes and I definitely think that these standings will affect their relationship."
"Well I don't know those two are pretty strong." Heather says trying to defend her teammates.
"Well I'll guess we'll have to wait and see then. Ok moving on....."
Tobin immediately turns off the tv. She couldn't believe what she heard. People betting on her relationship! She knew she couldn't tell Alex. She would fight for her relationship.
After dinner the couple sits on the couch and cuddles. Tobin couldn't stop worrying about what she heard. Alex could sense that something was wrong and asked: "Baby what's wrong?"
"Aww nothing nothing Al. Don't worry about it."
"So something is wrong. Tell me." Alex says stroking Tobin's cheek.
"Nothing it's just something I heard on tv."
"Tobs you should never believe anything you see on tv. Didn't your mom ever tell you that?" Alex says chuckling.
Tobin stays silent.
"What was the story?" Alex says now worrying.
"Ummm..." Tobin says tearing up.
"Well,, I was watching ESPN and they had a NWSL segment. And dumb Jack Lindsay said that the season will break us up."
"Tobin..." Alex says stroking her loved one's hand. She continues: "What does Jack Lindsay know about us. Our relationship! You and I both know that we're different on and off the field. But we'll always love each other no matter what happens. Cuz a championship isn't big enough to break us apart.
Tobin smiles at how everything that comes out of Alex's mouth is so poetic.
"That so true babe." Tobin says kissing Alex passionately.

Hope you liked that story! I truly tried to make it longer. Idk. I'm going to my beach house this upcoming week, so it might be a little hard to update. If not everyday, I'll definitely update every two days. Also if you guys could give me some Talex or Preath requests it would make my job so much easier.
