When the sun had left and the winter came

Alex came into her apartment to hear crying.
"Tobin? Baby were are you?" She asks frantically.
No answer.
Alex goes into the bathroom and sees Tobin on the floor.
"Baby, what's wrong?" Alex says kneeling down to her girlfriend.
Tobin tries to breathe between sobs.
Alex takes her into her arms and rubs her back.
Tobin sobs into Al's shoulder as they sit there in silence.
"Everything sucks." Tobin finally says.
"Why baby..."
"My family's out to get me." Tobin cries.
Alex thinks for a moment. Ever since Tobin came out as gay, her family has basically disowned her. They have been saying bad stuff about her since.
"It's okay Toby, don't listen to what they say."
"It hurts Al."
"I know it does. I'm here for you." Alex whispers.
Alex continues to hold Tobin for awhile longer until they decide to move to the couch.
"What do you wanna do baby..." Al asks as she helps Tobin onto the couch.
"Nothing." Tobin answers as she fiddles with Alex's fingers.
"Maybe watch a movie?"
"Yea..." Tobin says cutely.
Alex grins as she kisses Tobin's temple and wraps her arms around her.
"You would never disown me right Al?" Tobin says looking to her girlfriend with tears in her eyes.
"Never Tobin, there's no need to worry." Alex says stroking Tob's head.
"I love you." Tobin smiles.
"I love you too.." Alex says as she kisses Tobin's head.

"Could you get any cuter?" Tobin chuckles.

They drive for a little bit more until they get to their destination.
"Ready for this trek?" Alex jokes again.
"Babe, it's a 3 mile hike." Tobin smiles.
"Can't you let me joke!" Alex laughs.
"Sorry baby." Tobin says as she kisses Al's nose.
