Can I go back in? (Part 1 Of The Family Series)

The night before

"This is choking me." Alec exclaimed as Jace tightened the tie around Alec's thin neck. His dark hair was jelled back and his eyebrows were shaped. He looked more tanned than usual but that didn't matter it was Jace's first, and last, attempt a fake tanning. Who knew that it could be so hard? Jace was busy so Clary was a perfect substitute. Alec had asked Clary to be his 'bridesmaid' and Magnus had asked Raphael.
"What's happening tomorrow then?" Alec asked trying to break the tension.
"Oh, the clave want me to investigate a crazy vampire den in London. The residents of the London institute are on lockdown and asked us for some help." His voice cracked.

"What is this?" Magnus says as Raphael hand him a bottle of white wine. "You could have brought me something strong" he was wearing a blue and pink suit with a white tie. With his hair accessories he looked like a unicorn.
"So, how come Jace isn't Alec's best man?"
"Oh, he is going out to the London institute sorting something out with a high person or whatnot." Magnus explains doing his frantic gestures with his hands. "Tonight. So, he misses the wedding."
"That's one less problem to worry about then."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I mean that's one less shadowhunters that could become.dinner if they try anything funny."
"Now now boys, play nicely." Izzy says as she struts in throwing a glitter tube at Raphael. "For tomorrow. I borrowed some for Clary's dress."

Alec looked awkward as Jace fixed the button at the top of his trousers. Even though he was with Magnus he still felt something toward Jace.
"Done?" He asked checking the time on his phone.
" Two-nope- eeerrrm- and done."
He finished fixing the outfit ready for tomorrow and stood back admiring his handwork. "Why a 'mundane' wedding?"
Alec looked as if Jace had just slapped him with a forsaken hand. "Were just too tired of doing things our way, with the whole Sebastian and valentine thing. We just want to taste what it's like for a mundane." He explained with a proud look on his face

"Right I am going to have to go now but at least your all set for tomorrow. Good luck and I'm sure that it will all be fine." He ran out of the room leaving Alec alone in the changing room. Alec slowly took off his clothes and swapped them for his everyday clothing, leaving the room neat and tidy.

Magnus shoed Izzy and Raphael out of the room once they had finished so he could get changed again ready for the night that he had still yet to come.
"Ready for the party Magnus?" Izzy asked calmly.
"Yeah, oo what's this?" He asked as Izzy held out a small box wrapped in brown paper.
"An early wedding present." She said as he unwrapped it. Once he tore the wrapping off he found a small portable glitter gun in the box beneath.
"Tomorrow is going to be so much fun" he exclaimed. "Alec is going to hate you, you know."
Izzy giggle then left the room as demanded.

Sorry that this chapter is so short but have badly constructed it. Once it's finished I will move my paragraphs around and make it more coherent.
