He paced the hall, waiting for his father's arrival.
"Calm down Jonah, it'll be okay." Torian said sitting on the chair at the end of the hall.
Jonah stopped and looked over at Torian, his dark hair was slightly messy and his bright blue orbs looked tired.
"I dont know if I can, I need a distraction, what should we do to kill time?" Jonah asked.
"We could cuddle and take a nap." Torian offered, looking up at Jonah with big puppy eyes.
"I don't know you that well yet..." Jonah glanced away.
"Yeah but I know that you are attracted to me." Torian said in a low voice.
Jonah began pacing again, not denying anything.
"Jonah, we are mates." Torian stated, running a hand through his jet black hair.
"I know." Jonah said. "It's just, this is still a lot to take in." He folded his arms, as if to guard himself.
"That means eventually you will want me, you may even now. I get this is overwhelming, but why are you resisting?" Torian purred.
"I don't know." Jonah lied.
"I think you do," Torian said, still sitting in the chair. "I think part of you is afraid of falling for the beast, falling for a man you don't really know."
"And what if that is true?" Jonah questioned, walking closer towards Torian.
"Then indeed I shall make you fall for me." Torian said.
"What if I don't want you to?" Jonah challenged. He didn't know what he wanted, since he knew so little about this world, he felt vulnerable.
That's when Torian stood up and was standing in front of Jonah in an instant, their noses were touching.
"I think we both know the answer to that." Torian smirked, looking at Jonah with dangerous eyes, Torian's breath was hot.
Jonah felt his body screaming at him to kiss Torian, but he resisted.
"Then in time, maybe I will." Jonah said, taking a step back.
"I don't mind waiting." Torian said simply.
"Can you direct me to the bathroom?" Jonah asked, attempting leave the situation.
"Yeah." Torian muttered, sauntering towards the end of the hall.
The taller man stood by the door, beckoning him.
"Thanks." Jonah said.
As he was walking into the bathroom, Torian caught his wrist.
"This conversation about us isn't over yet."
Walking out, Jonah inhaled a wonderful scent. Following the scent, he arrived to the kitchen, which was modern and all white.
"I forgot we haven't had lunch yet so, are you okay with quesadillas?" Torian asked, adding bell peppers and chicken into the food.
"I'm good with anything, thankyou." Jonah said, cautiously sitting on the stool at the table.
He watched Torian move in the kitchen, as the taller man stood in front of the stove, he looked at the details in Torian's body.
He was intrigued by the muscles in his back and how they moved when Torian would reach for something.
"Do you like what you see?" Torian asked, grinning as he looked over at Jonah.
"Um, s-sorry." Jonah said, looking away, he felt flustered that he got caught.
"As I said before, I think we both know the answer to that question you asked earlier." With that, Torian turned around to bring the plates of food.
Jonah looked at his food in awe, "Wow it looks so good."
"Eat up, you're dad might be here any minute." Torian said, walking out of the room.
Jonah turned towards his food and smiled. The food tasted heavenly, and the cheese melted in his mouth.
Just as he finished, he heard the door bell ring.
"Well it looks like your old man is here." Torian said, folding his arms.
"Yeah." Jonah said softly.
"Let's get this over with."
