"So you're telling me that my brother kidnapped your mate?" Thomas asked, eyes wide.

"It was Uncle Joe, and i'm just as surprised as you are." Torian said, folding his arms.

"This just doesn't add up sweetie, first his mother was murdered in her house, her very room, then later that day he was kidnapped?" Tracy speculated.

"Poor dear, he's been through hell already."

"There's one other thing, when I went to rescue Jonah from being kidnapped, he already freed himself. And when I reached him, his eyes were glazed over with gold and his body transformed into the body of a gladiator. How could a human defeat an Alpha? And... What is he?"

"His body didn't change back?" Thomas questioned, pacing the small office.

"No, it's been like that since." Torian stated.

He looked over at the wall that held their family picture, it seemed that at that moment in time, everything was perfect, but now, he didn't even know what to believe anymore.

"This is a lot to take in, I know. I just want to help him, and help him stay out of danger." Torian said.

Both parents looked at each other guiltily then at their oldest son.

"What?" Torian asked.

"At first this seemed like a jumbled situation, but it all makes sense. You see, as you know that we've been struggling with the war against the corrupted for generations now. Your great grandfather and his pack decided to take a risk that they hoped would favor them in the war." Tracy said.

"They called upon the God of the werewolves, they pleaded with him, stating that the Corrupted not only wanted to destroy werewolves but humans too. Which was true, as cities were being completely demolished." Tracy added.

"What does this have to do with my mate? What does this have to do with Jonah?" Torian asked.

"Amarog, the God of werewolves answered their prayer, but would only send a warrior to the battlefield when the world needed it most. This warrior would be the ultimate hunter, not a human, but not any sort of supernatural being either. To make it safer for this warrior to enter the world, he would be raised in a normal family, with neither him or the family knowing of his true purpose. With all the signs being shown, it seems that the Corrupted figured that the Campbell's had a member of their family to potentially be that warrior. I don't know how though." Thomas said thoughtfully.

"So, that's why they were so agressive, and it was the Corrupted who killed his mom, they might of thought it was her that was the warrior..." Torian noted.

"Yes but Jonah is that warrior the God's sent. He is the savior of our fate."
