"We'll hold a pack meeting tomorrow," Torian told Derek. Derek nodded and walked over to his car.

Torian looked around searching, school just got out and he was hoping he might be able to start a small conversation with Jonah.

He prowled through the entrance of the high school. Finally he saw Jonah, blood rushed to his face, and his heart started aching.

Jonah's scent was intoxicating, smelling of cinnamon and pine.

He pushed through the crowd and reached Jonah, facing his mate.

He liked the way Jonah had long eyelashes, that showed everytime Jonah looked down at the floor. And his dark eyes, that seemed to hide something you didn't know, almost mischievous-like.

He loved Jonah's passion, how his eyes would light up as he would talk about something he enjoyed.

Torian hoped that Jonah would eventually act like that when he would talk about him.

There were so many things Torian liked about Jonah, and he didn't really know him that well yet.

"Hey." He said, looking at Jonah trying to compose himself.

"Hi." Jonah said calmly, saying it rather coldly.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay." Torian said, scratching the back of his head.

"Yeah I'm fine." Jonah said, clearly wanting to leave. "I need to go home."

Torian felt slightly pained to see Jonah act like this.

"Okay bye." He said, trying not to show his disappointment.

As Jonah walked away, he stood there watching him. Within fifteen minutes almost all of the students had left the school, except for Jonah. He forgot to ask his parents or Logan for a ride back to his house.

"Damn." Jonah cursed, running his hands through his hair.

He tried calling his dad, but he was probably in a meeting. And his mom was out with some friends today. Logan wasn't answering his phone either.

"What's wrong?" Torian asked, wanting to help his mate.

Jonah looked over at Torian, "Nothing." He said, not wanting to tell a stranger his problems.

"Do you need a ride?" Torian asked, folding his arms.

"No offense but, I don't really know you." Jonah said, feeling his cheeks burn.

"I know, but I'm sure it would suck walking in this cold weather." Torian stated.

He could see Jonah debate on what he should do, Jonah's eyebrows were furrowed and he was fidgeting with the sleeves of his jacket.

"Y-Yeah I guess you're right." Jonah agreed.

Torian grinned, "Great, follow me then." He was thrilled to spend more time with Jonah.

He opened the door for Jonah, he was able to see a bit more of Jonah as he slid into the passengers seat. Walking over the drivers seat he himself slid into his all black Camaro.

"Nice car." Jonah mumbled.

"Thanks." He said, pulling out of the parking lot.

The ride was silent, which Torian found peaceful because he rarely gets moments like these.

Being the oldest of six brothers meant the house was never quiet. His brothers were constantly bickering, wrestling, or trying to make strange new inventions that usually ended up on fire, literally.
