"So, he's a god?" Torian asked, slightly confused.

"Not necessarily, he's kinda like a demi-god." Thomas said, "he has the powers to help us, and he is stronger than any Alpha could ever dream to be, but he's not a god or a werewolf."

"He's what they call, The Divine Hunter." Tracy said in a hushed tone, she clasped her small hands together, looking up at Torian with awe in her eyes.

"He is something extraordinary, he's like a mutant, but with purpose."

"He's like Link from the Legend Of Zelda!" Torian offered excitedly, he almost squealed at the thought of Jonah being the savior of the world, like Link.

"I guess that's one way to look at." Tracy said.

"Well what do we tell Jonah? We can't just be like, hey Jonah! Guess what? You're supposed to save the entire planet from evil werewolves, and if you don't, we're all doomed, isn't that cool?" Torian said, throwing out his arms in frustration.

"We'll be honest, but the prophecy says his mate is supposed to help him train and prepare to reach his full potential." Thomas stated, putting a firm hand on Torian's shoulder to reassure him.

This calmed Torian slightly, he felt pressure to help prepare something so critical, so crucial to existence, to all life forms, he had to make sure Jonah was ready, but he wasn't even confident in being an Alpha, let alone to protect and train Jonah was something he felt he couldn't do, but he would try, for his sake, and especially Jonah's.

"When does he reach his full potential? If there is a certain deadline we have to reach." Torian asked.

"By his nineteenth birthday, he will have to be ready to accept the role of the Divine Hunter." Thomas said.

"And if he doesn't?" Torian questioned.

"He doesn't what?"

"He doesn't accept the role of the Divine Hunter." Torian said, eyes wide. "I mean, doesn't he at least get a choice?"

"His whole meaning to exist is to save us, so I don't know if he gets a choice whether or not to accept the role son, if he doesn't I don't know what would happen to him. He could be in danger if he doesn't, again I don't know." Thomas said, running a hand through his hair.

"This is a lot to take in, I need to go for a run." Torian said and ran out of the room.

"Torian sweety, wait-" Tracy said, but he was already out of the house before she could finish her sentence.

Running towards the forest, Torian transformed into his wolf, letting the wind run through his fur.

"I can't believe i'm mated with the Divine Hunter."
