Justin Foley sat at the Beaumont's living room, looking deadly at the floor without yet speaking a word about what had put him in this state, making his best friend worried who had a second thought about whether or not he was right to let the boy in, who had lied to him and made him feel extremely bad about himself, but then when looking at the state of his best friend, there was no way Chad Beaumont would leave him outside.

"Justin, what happened, man?" Chad asked the boy who hadn't moved in the last 5 minutes, sitting beside him in the comfortable couch with the TV still turned on in the background, talking about a new celebrity who had found out she was cheated on by her husband and was planning to go into court with.

Justin shook his head in response, even though Chad had his theories considering his discoveries (thanks to the tapes) about what Bryce done to Jessica and Hannah, making Chad hate the boy harder then he had thought was possible and how Justin didn't do his best to stop Bryce according the Hannah.

Even though Chad was curious to find out what happened, he noticed that Justin needed his time and when he wanted to speak about it, he would.

"Do you want me to take you home?" Chad asked, running out of questions possible to ask the boy, thinking that in this moment Justin Foley was made of glass but Foley shook his head, finally opening his mouth to speak.

"No, I was hoping I could stay over. I don't feel like dealing with my mom's boyfriend's issues." Justin said while Chad nodded in comprehension.

"Sure, you can stay. You can sleep in my room and I'll crash in the couch." Chad said while getting up, getting ready to get the couch ready and comfy enough for him to sleep at least for one night.

"Are you sure?" Justin asked, finally making eye contact with his best friend, chad noticing that his eyes were still blood shot red but there seemed to be no more tears left. Chad nodded in response while giving him a slight smile.

Justin got up from the sofa and passed through Chad, muttering a 'thank you' loud enough for Chad to hear and walked upstairs while Chad heard the slow and weak footsteps as Foley walked towards Chad's room.

Chad prepared the couch with a comfy blanket for the night, laying down on the comfy couch, covering his body with the blanket since he was on his pyjamas and considering that they weren't that hot. Chad finally turning off the TV (in which Dancing with the stars was starting) and hearing muffled screams and cries coming from the upstairs, making it hard for Chad to even close his eyes.

Another night had passed, one of the most difficult nights for Chad Beaumont since he had to hear his best friend suffering upstairs in his room.

Chad woke up as Justin walked down with his full clothes already dressed, looking better then the previous day but the facial expression kept the same, the boy looked weak as if he wasn't bothered to speak or walk or breath.

"Good morning." Chad spoke while Justin sat down in the neat couch while Chad was getting the other couch ready, removing the blanked and the pillow. Looking at the clock in top of the TV which shined 7:36 which was pretty early for Chad but he liked waking up early anyways.

"Morning." The boy muttered. Chad finally finished up in the couch and walked slowly, towards the same couch as Justin. "Thanks for letting me spend the night, I appreciate it. You of all people - I thought you would never let me stay." Justin said making Chad furrow his eyebrows in confusion.

"How comes?" Chad asked.

"Well you know - you were mad at me, you barely spoke to me." Justin said, looking as deadly to the floor as the day before.

"You really think that low of me?" Chad chuckled. "You needed help, I know you made me feel like - shit and you lied to me but sometimes we need to forget about the problems and just be - human with each other." Chad spoke making Justin sigh in relief. "Just don't think that this will change anything, I just let you stay the night because you were in a bad situation - but you really hurt me."

"Let me explain, Chad please." Justin said, almost begging the boy for forgiveness.

"Okay." Chad muttered waiting for his version while falling back into the couch, his eyes not leaving the other boy.

"I tried to stop Bryce I did, I - I tried to burst open the door but he pushed me right back, and I just didn't know what to do, one of my best friends was in the room doing things to my girlfriend and I couldn't do anything to stop it. I kept it away from Jessica because no matter what I knew she would be mad at me." Justin said, tears already flowing down his rosy cheeks as he reminded himself of the thought. "If she knew, her life would be ruined, while instead she would think that she had just hooked up with me. I was wrong, I was so wrong man. Now she hates me." Justin sighted while wiping away some tears.

"No - She would never hate you." Chad said, placing his hand comfortable in the boy's shoulder.

"She does!" Justin exclaimed. "Yesterday, Jessica was playing with Bryce and I just - it annoyed me that she was playing with the guy that did that to her so I let it out and I told her, she slapped me and - she just left." Justin said, no longer worrying about the tears going down his cheeks while Chad looked at the floor feeling pity for both Justin and Jessica.

"I have tried contacting her but she's not answering anything." Justin said while Chad muttered a 'sorry'.

The boys were interrupted by footsteps coming towards the living room, as Justin quickly wiped away the tears and stood up along with Chad.

Helena Beaumont walked towards the living room all dressed up, while her head still looked like she had just left her bed, but she looked in the little mirror in the living room and started brushing her hair.

"Oh - hi Justin! Nice to see you here." Helena said looking at the boy through the mirror while she continued to brush her hair.

"Hi Mrs. Beaumont, yeah Chad was kind enough to let me stay over." Justin said trying his best at a genuine smile.

"Oh - that's why Chad was sleeping in the couch. Well, I hope you had a nice sleep." Chad's mother said finally finishing up her hair.

"Yeah - it was perfect." Justin lied. "I have to go my mom is probably worried about me." Justin said before smiling at Chad and muttering yet again another 'thank you' and walking out the door after saying goodbye to Helena Beaumont who finally turned around towards her son as the door shut.

"Sweetie, why don't you go get dressed up, one of my friends is coming over with her husband." Helena Beaumont said as she pushed her son upstairs to get ready for whatever the big occasion was.
