It was the next day, Camila sat next to Hailee as she balled her eyes out. How could he be such a dick. What had gotten into him, he was so caring and loveable and now? Well now he was a a douchebag.
"Camz, he doesn't deserve you" Hailee said as she handed Camila a tissue
"I don't wanna leave him" she cried as she wiped her tears
"Sweetheart, there's no love left" Hailee exclaimed
"What-" she said in between cried
"Your relationship is toxic, I don't think he loves you and I don't think he loves you anymore" Hailee said
"But 6 years Haiz" Camila told him
"Maybe there will be more but right now you need to break things off with him for good"
Camila had a questionable look on her face.
They both were in bad places, and together they were in worse places. She had cheated and she knew she had to heal by herself. And for him too
It's time they both let each other go
"Okay" she said in a faint whisper as she got up from the bed weakly and headed towards the door.
"I'll be here" Hailee said, Camila nodded as she walked out of the dorm room and headed to her old one

Shawn had just woken up, he was tired and felt sick as he headed to the bathroom and took a hot shower.
He then decided too watch tv as he made himself breakfast, Shawn hadn't attended classes nor football practice, he didn't want to deal with all the questions and the stares.
A couple hours later after watching binge watching season two of one of his favourite tv show "stranger things" he heard a knock at the door.
He groaned as he slowly made his way to the door and he saw a small brunette with red cheeks stained with her tears look up at him
"Camila I just-"
"Shawn we need to talk"
"Camila, what do you need"
"I need us to end officially"
"What?!" He said shocked
"Look, were both in dark places. And we're not right for each other at the moment"
"Camila, what the fuck. No I'm not letting you go again" he yelled
"Shawn all we ever do is argue, I'm done. I can't hurt you anymore" she screamed at him.
"You gotta be kidding me, Camila, listen we can make this work"
"Make what work. Shawn I don't think I love you anymore. " she told him
Shawn looked at her stunned, he couldn't believe such words would ever escape her mouth. He had enough. He lost his girl. The one he thought he would hold on forever. She was gone
"What the fuck is wrong with you" Shawn said a angrily
"Shawn, listen-" Camila asked
"No Camila you listen, I listen all the damn time. It my turn to ball my eyes out" he yelled
"You first fuck my best friend, then break up with me, break up with me, then try to kill yourself, then tell me to cut you out of my life entirely. Pretend we never existed" he said listing what had happened to him in the last couple of month
"You douche, how many times do I have to tell you. I did not want to fuck him. He fucking did it to me you dick" Camila sassed back
"Your fucking disgusting" Shawn told her
"Your fucking selfish. Only ever caring about your damn self Mendes"
"I'm fucking selfish?" Shawn leagued evilly
"So when your mom died and I had your back makes me selfish. Who slept on the floor while you slept on my bed those nights your father was home. Who pays for your damn collage tuition. Who fucking put that scum bag in jail. I Did that. And if that makes me selfish well then be it" Shawn said
"Fuck you" she yelled at him
"You know, you were the only one I ever truly needed and you took that away from me too.. For all I know you're the selfish one Camila"
"What makes me damn selfish" she rolled her eyes at his remark
"Have you ever listen to one of my damn problems. You didn't listen to a word when my parents were going through a divorce. You didn't listen when my grandma had passed away. Camila you have never listen to any of my problems because you were to busy talking about yours"
"Shawn I was-" she said crying
"Struggling. Guess what Camila. I was struggling to"
"I had no idea" she cried
"Camila. Stop think Your the only one with a shitty life because when you look up the person right in front of you is in such a shitty place to" he cried
"Shawn, I'm sorry" she cried
"No. You're right. You don't love me, you never did because if you did you would listen to me to and not have my whole world revolve around you"
"Can you stop making me feel like such a bad person. I'm done" she said calmly at him
"You know you make feel like real shit too" he said
"I don't wanna see you right now" she told him
"You were right, we are not right for each other" he said
"So that's it. That's how we are going to end" she said
"What more do you want." He asked
"I don't know" she mumbled
"I guess that's it"
Camila let out a small sigh
She saw Shawn take his leather jacket and shoes and keys.
"Where are you going" Shawn heard Camila asked him
"As far as I can from you" He said
Camila nodded, that's honestly what she wanted right now. She didn't want to be in the same place as him.
It was done she wasn't hurting him
He wasn't hurting her
They were strangers now
And they were both left hurt
Now alone to heal.
